A well-resourced, clean homestay with friendly professional staff and English-speaking owners set looking out at the local rice paddy fields. Rooms are clean with good shower and bed. Swimming pool is small but you can still your lengths in. Food is freshly prepared and tasty. A short walk only from the centre of Tam Coc.
My boyfriend and I stayed in Wonderland Bungalows in March 2020. The owners of this place are the nicest people I have ever met! Their customer service is spectacular and they go above and beyond to cater to your every need. The foot baths and delicious tea at the end of each day where just one of the things that put them above all the other places we stayed at. Our visit was cut short because of the corona-virus and it broke my heart as I really didn't want to leave. If we ever go back to Vietnam, we will definitely go back to Wonderland Bungalows.
Anything I write here will never do justice to how amazing this place is. From the minute you arrive until the minute you leave the owners bend over backwards to make you feel at home. From the fruit platter on arrival to the nightly foot bath and ginger tea. Or the use of torches to use to walk into town at night and the care package of snacks and water for our train ride back to Hanoi. It is all perfect. My only complaint is on me... that I didn’t book to stay here longer. We travelled for 3 weeks in Vietnam this time having previously spent approximately a month travelling around a few years ago and I can confidently say this is the best place I have stayed whilst in the country. Thank you so so much for making us feel so welcome and ensuring we made the most of our visit to your beautiful area of the country. …
As I arrived home from Vietnam I could not get this beautiful place off my mind. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as family with warm tea muffins and mango smoothies. Our bungalows were absolutely beautiful and the courtyard was so gorgeous. Each evening we so looked forward to our foot bath and a delicious hot lemongrass drink. (I so crave it today). We ate at the restaurant our first night and it was our favorite meal in Tam Coc. Our breakfast was excellent with endless fresh tropical fruit and those amazing mango smoothies. As an act of their kindness they brought out a few of their sons toys for our 2 year old grandson. It was different to leave this piece of paradise our favorite in Vietnam
The Hotel just tucked away from the main street but easily access to the main street via bicycle. Quiet environment like living in nature and the host is very friendly. They provided free foot spa and also give you free bicycle ride with baby seater attached if you have young kid or baby. When they know we go for one day tour they even provide us some snacks, food and drinks. That really make us felt welcomed, exclusive and warmth. The room is spacious and clean with very unique setting, whole room interior and finishes are made by bamboo!
