Tam Coc Tropical Homestay left nothing to be desired. The family that runs it is very kind and accommodating. The room was immaculate and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary (eggs, bread, cheese, fruit, juice and coffee) but it was served fresh with a big smile. Bicycles and motor scooters were available for rent at very fair prices. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to the area. The location was great and the owner provided helpful information about sightseeing in the area. One note, Booking.com had "shared bathroom" listed as a feature, but the room we rented had its own clean private bathroom. It's possible that not every unit has a bathroom but the other two guests I spoke to also had private bathrooms.

Had a couple of nights here and loved it. The hosts are fantastic and welcomed me as soon as jumped out of the taxi. I was a few hours early but my room was available so I was checked in within minutes (this was a huge plus after a long train journey). I was able to hire a motorbike, do my laundry and book onward travel here without any problem. The location is perfect, just near the main street and some good restaurants. The rooms are lovely and clean with comfy beds and hotel quality linen. Loads of places to hang clothes if you need to. Air con if you need it and a fan, good sized bathroom and a great breakfast. I made some last minute changes to my plan as I wanted to stay another night. The family sorted it in less than a minute! If you’re coming to Tam Coc then this is the place to stay in my opinion.

The homestay is a peaceful garden oasis within easy reach of the centre of Tam Coc. The room was spotlessly clean. We decided to take the boat from Trang An, our host organised a tour for us, which took in a lot more than we expected, and made the day really memorable. Our host organised a night bus for us and was really accommodating in letting us shower and change before leaving. He even came with us to the bus stop to make sure we got on the right bus, such a lovely man, thank you. This was really going the extra mile!

What a gem. A beautiful room with a lovely garden right by the door. Clean, and bright rooms with working air conditioner or fan. Breakfast is excellent, baquette, fruit and eggs. Juice and/or hot tea/coffee. You can rent motorbikes or bicycles for a fair price. A good location, close to many restaurants and central to all the sites.
