This place was the reason we came to Phu Quoc. Originally, we did not want to go to Phu Quoc during our stay in Vietnam. We decided only after we found this accommodation. And upon arrival we did not regret it. Everything was perfect. Quiet and beautiful place, nice cabins, great and helpful staff and excellent service. The beach is not gradually sandy. There is a low causeway that separates the property from the sea, which is reached by several steps. But that doesn't matter at all. We were there as a family with three children. Even the children were excited. If we ever go to Phu Quoc again, we will definitely be happy to come back. We wouldn't consider another place.

We had a amazing time at the peppercorn resort,all the staff were friendly and so helpful.It’s a idyllic setting and the resort is really well looked after,the food was also really good and we’re also willing to adapt things for the fussy ones amongst us. It’s our second visit and there’ll definitely be a third. So peaceful and relaxing - an ideal place to recharge. Staff are very welcoming, the food and location amazing. Local fishing village is a short walk away which we enjoyed exploring though it’s very easy to simply spend the day at Peppercorn enjoying the uninterrupted ocean views or sitting by the pool. I strongly suggest you bypass the big resorts - you won’t regret it.

What an extraordinary location for a holiday! The resort is magnificent from its beachfront accommodations to its friendly staff, who made sure we had everything needed. Arriving, you will enter an open-air reception area and restaurant with an incredible view of the beach and pool. The food is local, fresh, and delicious! We were happy to have all of our meals there and everything we tried was great! The grounds are beautiful with lovely trees and flowers. We were impressed with every single aspect of the resort! Before we arrived, the owner helped us arrange airport transportation and promptly replied to emails. During our stay, the staff was so helpful and kind, offering ideas for adventure in the nearby village when rain kept us from enjoying the sun, and showing us the popular local sunset spots on the other side of the island. From our room, we saw amazing sunrises! The resort offers bikes, kayaks, a library, board games, a spa, and the cutest dogs and cats! Our room was comfortable and had a nice veranda to sit and enjoy the view. I really appreciated the eco-friendliness of the resort; every detail was so well-thought out and planned. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and can't wait to return to Peppercorn in the near future. Book a room today! You will love it!…

After three weeks of traveling through Vietnam with two kids we were looking for some quiet time to relax and proces all that input - and we found it at the Peppercorn Beach Resort. To be honest, we started wondering why we came to Phu Quoc, a place that is being covered in concrete with absurd places like the Grand World and the mass tourism that you can find anywhere. But once we reached Peppercorn and it's wonderful staff we could just really relax and enjoy and conclude our travels. It is absolutely a place we can recommend to anyone seeking some quiet time at the sea!

This is a wonderful resort, you will feel the peace of nature, the sea is very warm. The staff are very friendly, making you feel comfortable like family. Wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner menu very creative. It is worth spending time for yourself at Peppercorn Beach resort.

My husband and I started our three-week Vietnam trip here and couldn’t have chosen a more blissful place to relax, acclimatise and get our first impressions of this beautiful country and its kind people! We stayed four nights in a lovely, clean, spacious seafront cottage with all mod cons. The sea was literally steps away and was warm and clean (we took a trip to the west coast and were shocked by how much rubbish was floating in the sea there in comparison). The view of the coastline (national park and Cambodia opposite) is spectacular and we loved looking at and swimming past the fishermen’s stilt-huts. We also loved eco-friendly touches such as the refillable water bottle in our room and the beautifully-tended gardens. The hotel had a post-season feel to it and we only shared it with a handful of lovely (Irish, NZ and HK) guests. The pool is large and peaceful and the restaurant absolutely excellent. We found that the a la carte breakfast offerings got a bit repetitive but the evening menu was excellent (the fish claypot and fish tacos were two of the best meals I had during our three-week trip and the Mojito remained in a class of its own!) – and all of it priced extremely reasonably. We also got a great, vigorous massage from a local masseuse who comes to the resort. Apart from the physical beauty and tranquility of the place, it is the staff that makes Peppercorn special. Everything worked perfectly, from the excellent email communication before arrival, the airport pick-up to anything we needed during our stay. First among equals was Nguanh (apologies about the spelling!) who spoke excellent English and was a real asset to the hotel and a life-saver for us. Due to a connecting flight delay, neither of our bags made it onto our long-haul flight to Hanoi which meant we spent the first two days in the same couple of T-shirts and swimwear which we had (luckily!) packed in our hand luggage. Nguanh went out of his way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible – he managed to get a local guy to deliver some vaping liquid my husband was desperately missing; he made constant phone-calls to Vietnam Airlines and did not rest until he had got our bags delivered to us some 36 hours later; and he organised a lovely trip to the night market for us, just in case we wanted to do some shopping and stock up on clothes… What an absolute star! All in all, we could not think of a nicer, more beautiful, low-key, chill-out spot to start or finish a Vietnam trip in (or just enjoy a relaxing beach break if you’re lucky enough to live within short-haul flight distance). …

This was our fourth trip staying at the Peppercorn. We stayed in the Beach front double room as usual. You can lie in bed and just see sea, sand, and palm trees. The beach is clean, the water was lovely and clear. Gorgeous to swim in. The pool is lovely as well. Food wise, there is no need to leave the hotel to be honest. Breakfast is fresh fruit, juices, coffees, pancakes, eggs, bacon - you just order what you want. The menu is limited but with something for everyone. They have daily specials, and you can ask for whatever you want as well. Top tip - the chicken noodle soup and tofu noodle soup are delicious. The team give each room a refillable water bottle which stops single use water bottle plastic waste. We also brought our own bottles for travel anyway. There is a water station in the restaurant which you can access anytime. The staff really make the hotel so special. They go above and beyond to help with everything and anything. Pointing out places you can visit, shop, walk, they even sent our postcards for us. We look forward to going back again next year!…

I stayed alone for a few days and then my mom arrived for 2 nights. We both enjoyed it very much! The staff is the best thing about this hotel. Everyone is really attentive and helpful without being pushy in any way. The hotel itself is pleasantly calm. Since it’s directly at the sea, we ate breakfast with a view of the sea and relaxed at our room with a view of the sea, very nice! We also got to borrow some bikes and went to the Starfish beach! The bikes were good, so that it was possible for us to do the day tour without any problems! And we borrowed the Kayaks and watched the sunset, which was really nice too. Definitely a recommendation from the both of us! (and we loved the fruit plate for breakfast!)
