The sandy runway to the property may scare off some people. Those who feel insecure are accompanied by helpful guides for a fee.

We spent many years in Africa and have some experience. Maps.me shows the way without any problems. The route is also quite well signposted. Reduce air pressure in the tires so that the contact surface becomes larger. Driving in the sand is similar to driving in the snow, gently accelerating, braking gently, not stopping in troughs, driving uphill with start-up and momentum, driving carefully over confusing hills so that you can stop at half visibility.

The lodge is well maintained and very lovingly decorated.

An ideal starting point to explore the desert on your own. We were invited by Bedouins to their tent for coffee. There it was strikingly tidy and very clean. We must assume that tourists are responsible for the waste, especially plastic waste, which lies all over the desert. The visit to Wadi Bani Kalid we liked very much.

As avid photographers, we like to go out before sunrise to experience the first morning light. The kitchen was very accommodating and equipped us each with a fantastic breakfast package. We had a nice apartment (No. 18)

The poolside bar for lunch is cozy. The restaurant for dinner unfortunately has no outdoor seating. There is still some room for improvement in the kitchen. It is too Indian-oriented for our taste.

All staff are motivated, friendly and extremely accommodating.
Many thanks to the whole team for the exemplary hospitality. We will definitely come back.

The resort is in a perfect location far into the Wahiba Sands, with a fun drive into the desert and spectacular high dunes on both sides of the "Sand Valley". The night sky is unbelievable and the resort arranged dune bashing and a sunset trip into the dunes. They can arrange many other activities like camel rides and Quad Bikes, which we did not try. Pick-up from the edge of the desert can be arranged if you are not game enough to drive yourself or your car is not suitable. My boys however highly enjoyed the drive on the well-marked piste. The rooms are beautifully equipped and each has a private balcony for star gazing. The pool was a welcome cool down. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The chefs treated us to a tasty dinner and overall it was a highly enjoyable stay. We will for sure recommend this resort and go back. The fully licensed bar came as a nice surprise.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic staycation at Arabian Nights Resort & Spa with friends and family. The resort is clean and well-maintained, offering a beautiful pool and stunning views that really set the scene for a relaxing getaway.

A special mention to Suraj and Bibin, who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. Their attentiveness and hospitality truly made a difference.

While the resort was great, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The variety of food options could be expanded, and the Wi-Fi connectivity was inconsistent. Despite these minor setbacks, we had a lovely time and would recommend the resort for a peaceful escape.

It was my first time in a sand desert and I truly enjoyed my stay. Following the recommendation of a friend, I just booked the resort without much of a research. When I got there I was surprised at all the comforts the resort and my villa offered. To enjoy the sunset from a dune and experience the silence of the desert, I booked a camel tour. This was a very nice and impressive experience. After sunset on the way back, it already became cool. It was all nicer to find out that the swimming pool is heated and there are even cocktails offered at the pool bar. For dinner there was a buffet with a good selection of delicious local and international dishes. The staff, especially in the restaurant, was very attentive and friendly. With all the beautiful impressions I slept very well. My tight schedule required me to leave the very next day, but I think one night is almost too short and at least one more night would have been nice.

One of the best stays we ever had. Very friendly and flexible staff who really make you feel at home. Food surprised us. It was better than some of the best city hotels. The chef team would even taller make the menu as per your choices and dietary requirements. Their new spa was simply the best. Very welcoming and relaxing. I would highly recommend it to everyone staying there. But you should book it the moment you check in.
There are loads of activities from sundowner hi-tea to sandboarding. The heated pool is a blessing.
The drive from Bindhiya to the resort is so much fun. You don't get to do it every day, so enjoy it.
It's my go-to destination for short breaks from Muscat.
Thank you team Arabian Nights for an exceptional stay!

We loved this place. Just getting there is an adventure in itself (27 km of trail in the desert), but what a panorama! After the first camps, the road narrows, the landscape is splendid and in the end we come across this place which makes us wonder what it is doing there! The rooms are very comfortable, the swimming pool is magnificent, the restaurant is delicious and the dishes are well stocked, with the added possibility of complementing all this with a good glass of wine. The sunset over the dunes is splendid. The staff is very pleasant. During our visit there were few people and therefore no noise which added to the charm of the place. A great discovery

We stayed for two nights. The rooms are very comfortable. The setting of the camp is great in the middle of the desert and dunes on both sides.

The sunsets are spectacular! You can enjoy them on camel back or dune buggy or in a jeep

The Omani sands are wonderful and soft.

There is a lot of choice of cuisine
In the evening they organise a lovely barbecue.
The bar has good wine options

The pool is heated and has a great seating area too

A must visit while in Oman

Arabian Nights Resort and Spa is a dream getaway! an Oasis deep in the desert! The offroading to get to the location is quite a ride. The location of this property couldnt be better! Nestled in between 2 giant dunes which is a perfect spot to ride your 4x4's or see your kids run up and down the sands while you can watch them from your cottage.

There is a beautiful pool, and a spa in the works.

The staff is friendly and helpful and the they have lots of activities lined up if needed. such as sunset drive, camel ride, quad biking, star gazing etc.

The food is delicious and the rooms are spacious and comfy with most amenities requiried.
