The Park Hyatt Siem Reap Hotel has given me the best Hyatt experience ever.

The team is very well orchestrated to deliver exceptional quality and moments during my stay. From the individual moments of conversation with the various hoteliers to enjoying the end products of the hotel, I am left deeply impressed and touched! My special thanks to GM Nur who has helmed this team so nicely and remarkably well!

The hotel is very well kept and offers a very fresh, new feel. I feel that the energy in this property is very positive and calming, amid the outside hustle and bustle of Siem Reap. Interior decor and the architecture of the property is discrete yet quietly splendid.

The dining and food quality is absolutely marvellous. Without divulging too much, I'll say there are interesting dining suprises that guests can discover, to make the stay interesting *grin*. Furthermore, the evening programs of Aspara dancers and the nightly Candle Release Ceremony add to the cultural intrigue of this place.

The spa experience is incredible with just about the best therapists I have ever come across. The surroundings of this spa is serenely calming and of very high quality.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Major places such as the Pub Street, numerous eateries and shops are all within walking distances and short tuk tuk rides.

The Park Hyatt Siem Reap property and the special hoteliers within, have made this place my second home. Thank you to this special family in Siem Reap. :-)

We were booked into this hotel by Scenic for a 3 night stay at the end of their Mekong River Cruise and Tour trip. The hotel was luxurious, comfortable, interesting and relaxing and we particularly enjoyed spending an hour or so each day around the two beautiful pool areas. Pool service is great. Complimentary bottles of water, cold towels, sun cream and insect repellent were provided together with generous sized pool towels. When a sudden shower arrived, staff quickly came out with huge umbrellas to accompany guests back to the interior of the hotel. Breakfast was available both inside and on the terraces and was self service counters and a menu to order hot dishes and coffees to the table. In the evening we had cocktails and bar snacks which were delicious and large portions. It was much more expensive to eat and drink in the hotel than in bars and restaurants in nearby Pub Street or the Night Markets but it was easy and convenient to use the hotel facilities, especially as the hotel looks so attractive and welcoming, with an Aspara dance display in the candle-lit courtyard.

Our room and bathroom had everything we needed and was very comfortable and we found all the staff to be extremely friendly and polite. The view out of our window wasn't particularly attractive (tin roofs of adjoining buildings) but this didn't really worry us at all.

The only niggle we had was regarding the very complicated lighting, sound and IT system with switches all over the place. There was no apparent logic to it and no instructions anywhere. All our other fellow travelers commented on it and it became a bit of a running joke during our stay. Can't understand why something so essential wasn't covered by a simple instruction guide. We were not escorted to our room so there as no staff member to explain how the room worked as you often get.

Overall, a very good choice by Scenic.

We would certainly stay at the Park Hyatt if we were to return to Siem Reap.

The location is the main drawcard. It really is so perfectly located, only 5-10 minutes walk from Pub St and all the restaurants, cafes etc around there. It's also 5-10 minutes walk from Kandal Village and there's also a few cafes etc scattered in the streets surrounding the hotel. We enjoyed walking to go out for breakfast/coffee nearby as well as walking to go out for dinner. When you're in a car or tuk tuk driving around all day its nice to have the freedom to walk around before and after.

But the hotel itself is also stunning. Our room was spacious, beautifully styled and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable as well as being luxurious. We especially appreciated all the water that was provided, although we were concerned about the amount of plastic bottles being used. The pool area is really lovely, notably the free form pool, and it was a very relaxing place to rest before or after touring the temples. The gym wasn't that big but it had sufficient equipment which was clean and well-maintained.

We felt however that the hotel's prices for touring the temples were very steep. The tuk tuks they are in contact with are very expensive, especially for us Australians as the prices are in USD. There are always other tuk tuk drivers outside the hotel who you can bargain with and we went with one of them and he was a lot nicer than the hotel tuk tuk driver and gave us free cold water.

Dear GrojoMelbourne, Thank you for your recommendation ! We are delighted to read that you had a great stay with us. Our location is indeed central, I am happy to read that you were able to benefit from it like most of our guests. We are slowly moving towards being 'plastic free hotel' and getting rid of plastic bottles is in the plan. Hopefully we will be able to implement 'reusable' glass bottles for drinking water before your next visit ! We hope to welcome you at our resort once again in the future, until then I remain at your disposal for any assistance that you may need Best Regards, Pravin Kumar General Manager

Stayed in Park Hyatt when I last visited Siem Reap a number of years ago, went back to stay when I visited Angkor again in Feb. The hotel is very well kept but I services provided need much improvement to be at par with other Park Hyatt. Breakfast choice is very limited and the quality is totally unacceptable. The only plus is its location, which is a stone-throw away from the night market and bar street, though not affected by the noise and vibrancy of the night market which is two small blocks away.
The hotel is served by two small lifts and if coach load of American tourists are back from their mid-night hike, you may have to wait at the lift lobby for over 5 min in order to get onto the lifts.
Swimming pool at the 1/F is great that's the only place in the hotel where one can find services on par with Park Hyatt standards.

Dear HKG_Traveller2010, Thank you for your review ! I am happy to see that you liked our location and found first floor swimming pool at par with Park Hyatt standards. We are a small hotel with only 3 guest floors. For property of our our size, two guest elevators are in line with global norms. My apologies if you did not find them adequate. We receive guests from all over the world with different nationalities, backgrounds, preference etc.. As a company we take utmost pride in the diversity and we strive to provide all of them with an exceptional experience during their time with us. Our breakfast is one of the best (if not the best) in the region and is rated very high for its quality and spread by almost every guest including on platforms like the TripAdvisor. I am sorry if you did not find it as per your expectations. I would appreciate if you can put some more light on it via direct email to me so that we can work on improving ourselves further. I wish you best of luck. Warm regards, Pravin Kumar General Manager

We had a great stay at the Park Hyatt Siem Reap. We loved the location, it was centrally located so you could easily walk to the main neighborhoods where you find bars and restaurants. However, tuk tuks are cheap and plentiful so location isn’t so much of an issue in Siem Reap.

We stayed in the Park Suite. It appears that the Park Suites are all located on the exterior side of the resort complex, so they all overlook the street (and a gas station and Burger King). But you don’t stay here for the views from your room. Despite the location of the room, we didn’t have any issues with road noise.

Our biggest issue with the room was that the lights in the bathroom shower and the soffits in the living room and bedroom would not turn off. At 1am, a maintenance person had to come up to our room and literally cut the power to the lights so we could go to sleep. Then they had to return the next day to repair the issue.

We enjoyed the pool. Service at the pool was top notch, always someone to take your order and deliver food/drinks.

The spa is also great. However, our biggest complaint is that there is a wading pool just below the spa suites. During our 90 minute massage, we could hear small children screaming, laughing, and talking to one another. Poor design.

Breakfast is great. We really appreciated that they run breakfast until 11. That means you have time to do temple ruins in the morning and make it back for breakfast and a swim in the pool. Really brilliant!

We booked thru AmEx Fine Resorts and Hotels. The hotel was on the spot with all the amenities that go along with. Just be sure to bring your $100 hotel credit voucher with you when you check out.

We also used the hotel arranged transfers from the airport. We were picked up in a brand new Ford Explorer.

A great experience does not start when a guest arrives at the hotel. In reality, it starts well before then, when I first came across you and decide to book their stay. As Saphoeuy says, “Park Hyatt always aims to set a positive impression of the hotel and the team before the guest has even arrived" which contribute to the first choice selected for everyone.

“Having a simple and approachable booking process with clear room, prices, and special offers are simply contributed this impression come out from my mind. A big thank to SaPhoeuy.

The Park Hyatt Siem Reap is perfectly situated in Siem Reap. The hotel is closed to shop within 5 minutes walking distance of the infamous Pub Street. The entrance to Angkor Wat is about 10 to 15 minutes away by car and 20 to 25 minutes away buy tuk tuk. Even thought the hotel is in the center of town, you will not hear any noise. The room are beautiful, reasonably spacious with lovely hard wood floors. The staff are beyond helpful and wonderful professional. Especially Mr.Phoeuy, cooked the lovely Egg Benedict for us during breakfast !!! Yummy !!! Highly Recommended!!!

From the warm welcome, and the attention to detail by the staff, our stay at the Park Hyatt Siem Reap in Dec 2019 was very special. Breakfasts we meticulously prepared as were the drinks at the bar and the other parts of the hotel. The hotel's rooms are extremely well appointed and the hotel's location is ideal for visiting so many of the many attractions within the town and the temples themselves which are within easy reach. You will not be disappointed.

This hotel was built by the French many years ago and it has some interesting features as a result. The bathroom has a wall that slides open into the bedroom which is kind of cool. The room was large as was the bathroom. The hotel itself is beautiful and there are many places (expensive) to eat on the main floor. The staff is beyond polite and bows constantly to everyone. There are two pools that are beautiful but in spite of the warm temperatures in Siem Reap, the water in both was chilly. The location is within walking distance of Pub St., the main tourist area and there are tuk tuks everywhere for longer trips out.

You can use Grab which includes options such as Rickshaw, Sedan, SUV, Minivan. The Rickshaw we took cost about $3, I remember the Sedan was $7. Local currency if you want to buy lower value items or tipping. USD is also fine since they’ll normally return your money in local currency (the government is phasing out $1, and $5). The currency exchange rate hovers around 4100 Riel to $1. Just make you get your self a sim card. Its $12 a month if you get it from the airport. (Smart Mobile).

Dear Becky R, Greetings from Siem Reap ! Like rest of the world, life in Siem Reap has also been affected. There have some travel advisories been issued and we encourage you to check with relevant authorities before traveling to any destination at this moment. At Park Hyatt Siem Reap, our top priority is the continued safety and well-being of our guests and colleagues. We will continue to remain vigilant and  follow the recommended procedures and protocols of the national and local authorities  in an effort to  ensure the safety and well-being of our colleagues and guests.
