Fantastic location, nice pools and manicured gardens. Apartments are modern with modern furnishings. Only bad comment is the bathrooms-particularly the showers they need a good scrub and the sofa needed cleaning. Would revisit, great for families as its close to the beach and cafes etc.

Extremely disappointing. Good location but staff rude and uncaring. Difficult to access accommodation during inclement weather and not wheelchair friendly. We paid a premium for this accommodation and expected so much more.

The accommodation was nicely furnished and well kept. Rooms were clean. The 3 pools make good use of the split level space but only the middle one was heated. Pool areas were well kept. The place is nice and staff are friendly. We arrived 1hr early but rather than inviting us to park in car park and use pool until room was ready we were asked to go away and come back a bit later and no Marco Polo rule in the pools kinda made the place feel like it was run by the fun police although it didnt impact our holiday in any way. Would definitely stay again.

The location couldn’t be any better. Unfortunately the customer service lets this place down. We went out fir the day and returned to find our door open. We asked the front desk if they had let someone in but they said they didn’t. We asked if it was possible to check CCTV and was told they didn’t have it only to be told later in the conversation that the manager will check it and get back to us. It never happened. When we checked and we’re on the way to the airport we realised we may have left a phone in the apartment. We called and asked if they could check and we’re told that house keeping wouldn’t be in till tomorrow and that they’ll check then and no one was available to check. This was after we’d requested a late check out and told no because they had people arriving to checkIn. The bond wasn’t returned immediately and was only returned after I followed them up. If I owned one of the units id be annoyed. The customer service really lets them down.

Great resort for families , has three different pool to suit teenagers , toddlers and adults. The beach is a 1 min walk , and the property is surrounded by lots of restaurants, Woolworths and cafes. One draw back is the gymnasium, it’s very small which can only fit one person at a gym, which is part Covid related and you can only book it for 1 hour per day. Overall a good property , and worth staying when in Cabarita Beach.

I want to advise most of you that if you are considering booking a stay here, please exercise caution. The predominant reason is that they are very inflexible and disappear with contact as soon as you query their responses, lack of/no COVID terms and conditions, not to mention extremely rude! To provide further context, we had booked here initially for October 2020 as part of having our wedding nearby where I grew up. With the COVID-19 situation, we had to reschedule and they do not offer a refund, only a 6 month credit note where they hold your deposit and you can only use the credit note once, despite the ever changing COVID-19 situation. We were 2 days outside our 6 month credit note period (with tentatively trying to work out a new date for the wedding for 1 October 2021 with all vendors), with pleading to be able to use this and pay the significantly increased rates since a MAFS honeymoon was filmed there and standard increases being expected with only local travel. Sadly, this resulted in us being told they cannot provide flexibility and we should’ve known the terms and conditions. This is despite NSW Fair Trading advising to exercise flexibility under frustrated contracts law and the like, and the hotel has no, and I mean NO COVID-19 terms and conditions, particularly when compared to majority of similar properties. The staff, especially the Assistant Manager are absolutely disgraceful and rude (yes, I could name them however I’m taking the higher road). They do not return emails nor phone contact - they are as tacky and tasteless as leveraging off their advertisements from the Married at First Sight honeymoon being filmed there. We’ve asked all wedding guests and advised locals of what has occurred, so I hope this review helps others. Please put your money towards other lovely accomodation in beautiful Cabarita Beach.

Haven’t been on our holiday yet, but be careful booking this place in advance as they are not at all flexible during these difficult COVID times. Have booked to go with friends who are in a current hot spot and management have been very inflexible in helping us to change our dates. They have taken full payment but won’t even consider allowing us to postpone our trip. Not impressed!! Do not book unless you double check what they can do for you if COVID conditions change.

I visited the pub with my friends and family for my birthday. I ordered the Beach Hut Sauv (the cheapest $24) and it tasted off. 3 of my friends tasted the wine and all agreed it tasted off and didn’t taste right. I took the wine back and asked for a replacement or to pay for a different one. They called the manager, I got him to taste it as I couldn’t drink it. He said to me “so what do you want me to do about it?” I said I’m happy to pay the $10 difference for the other wine, he proceeded to roll his eyes at me, couldn’t look at me, and said I should try the NZ wine. I said can I taste it first? He huffed and got me a glass to taste. I felt bad for not liking the wine but I just couldn’t drink it and it didn’t taste right. I ended up with paying the $10 difference for the Wildflower (which was yum). His customer service skills as a Manager was disgraceful and degrading, he didn’t really want to help me at all. There was no compassion & no understanding especially for a Manager working in hospitality. It’s upsetting I was treated like this especially on my birthday. I will definitely not be back.

Do you believe in having a holiday at a location you have paid for, where you should feel safe, and not worry about anyone in particularly staff entering your rooms without any notice with their own set of keys at any point in time? Well don’t stay here!! A group of mothers stayed at the penthouse recently with no parties or disturbances, yet management felt it in their rights to enter with no notice or warning & threaten everyone about one complaint they had from below that our music was too loud on the balcony at 6pm during daylight. Mind you we were playing music from our mobile phones and you couldn’t even here it in other spots in our own apartment yet we were disturbing the peace of someone below, who could have also easily asked us to turn off our music. With no prior contact or warning of our music from anyone working here, a non-uniform dressed angry staff member came charging in through our front door with her set of keys (no knock or call to the apartment) All the while it was just before 7pm and us mothers were discussing within the group at the dining table what our dinner plans were for that evening. The night was completely ruined by the night manager Naomi and her friend Karen who decided to stay at our apartments for over 2 hours arguing with us about 4 songs we had played during broad daylight 6pm. They refused to leave and made our evening into a nightmare. The most unprofessional group of people running this place - comical that they even have jobs here. No need to stay at The Beach, there are better options around where you can actually relax on your well deserved holiday and listen to your music and not feel threatened or worried during your sleep that anyone with a key is allowed to enter at any point for no reason. They actually believe that this is lawful and within reasonable grounds to charge in and ruin your holiday. We learnt after our stay that many others before us had the exact experience by The Beach staff and Iam baffled how they get away with it?! Perhaps Body Corp committee members need to take all these negative comments and reviews seriously by changing their management staff and showing them the true way they should treat their paying holiday renters, with some respect & human decency. A zero rating here - doesn’t matter how good it looks on the outside, it’s the inside (staff & management) that counts.

Having to unfortunately cancel our trip with the current COVID situation and not knowing what could happen and as per the government rules below and not wanting to get stuck we had no choice but to cancel, been offered NOTHING in the way of moving dates. we have lost over $3000 and been told quote “nothing we can do and just because you don’t want to wear a mask” Not about wearing masks it’s been in an area where things can change very quickly and been stuck with kids. I know business have done it tough but so have family’s loosing their holidays and crazy amount of money. Very very disappointing and we will never ever book again. (As of 5pm today, Wednesday 31 March, the following rules will apply to the local government areas of Tweed Shire Council, Ballina Shire Council, Byron Shire Council and Lismore City Council: Mask wearing will become compulsory on public transport, in retail stores, and in all public indoor settings the one person per 4 square metre rule will apply at all public indoor settings including hospitality venues)
