Our plan to travel once again, despite Covid, led to 17 days in Tasmania. The plan worked beautifully with the exception of only including 1 night at Storm Bay B&B! It was one of those rare times that reality greatly exceeded a website! Sylvia and Dave are delightful hosts and we felt as if we had caught up with long lost friends. The 96% of reviews that give a 5 star rating says it all and we don’t feel the need to comment on the excellence of location, comfort, facilities etc. People make the difference and we shall be pushing our many friends in Melbourne and Sydney, in particular, in your direction when they are able to “escape “! If only to give our reputation for good judgment a boost!! Thank you, Alan & Pam

We are very happy and proud to read your positive and glowing review of our property and the hospitality we afforded you both in your recent stay. We certainly hope that you recommend us to your family and friends that are travelling to Tasmania, but we hope even more that we see you again for a longer stay in the future. All the very best! This was our second stay at Storm Bay, we would love for David and Sylvia to adopt us. They really make you feel welcome and part of the family. They go out of their way to ensure your comfort as well as offering suggestions for places to visit. Breakfast is a highlight and they also have wine/other drinks available to purchase. Close proximity to Port Arthur and views to die for - from every direction. We'll definitely be staying again.

Thank you so much Kelly for your lovely, positive and upbeat review. Our children might object to us adopting more people into the family but we would be delighted to see you again and host you in our home. We hope your trip to Tasmania this time was enjoyable and the opportunity to see some different things this time. There is still so much more to explore, come back and check out the rest! Cheers Sylvia and Dave

Storm Bay Bed and Breakfast is the dream getaway for any traveller. We arrived after dark, wound up a dirt track (dodging pademelons, wallabies and possums!) to be warmly greeted by hosts Silvia and Dave. We settled by the roaring fire and immediately felt at home. After a great night’s sleep, we woke up to a magical view of the bay, and made our way to breakfast - the most amazing breakfast you could ever imagine - freshly cooked bacon & eggs, homemade bread, jams and yogurt. We had a delightful morning perusing the Sunday Port Arthur markets and visited the historic site, before setting out to walk the 4hr Cape Raoul trail with its epic cliff views! (All great recommendations by Dave & Silvia). That evening we cooked dinner on the b&b barbecue and spent the evening with our hosts - by the end of the night we felt like old friends! All in all our stay was very memorable, and we will definitely be coming back on our next Tassie holiday! Highly recommend :)

We had a lovely three night stay at Storm Bay B&B. David and Sylvia are really the most excellent hosts. They seem to have a knack of being warm, welcoming, yet not overbearing or intrusive. The home itself is very warm and comfortable. Our room (Acacia) was well appointed with a super comfy bed and pillows. The view from just about every window is picture perfect. The best bit for us was the breakfasts - hot, ample and cooked to order. We couldn't speak more highly of our stay.
