Hotel room was great especially those super comfy beds! But the main thing I loved about this hotel was the amazing service I got from the very start at the reception desk from a beautiful girl called Tash.. she made my day (which I didn’t think was possible as I had the most horrible/stressful day) She was such a breath of fresh air by simply being so kind/helpful :)
After reading the other reviews about the noise we decided to book anyway, we were pleasantly surprised. we stayed for a night on a public holiday weekend and the noise from the bars and restaurants down below was nowhere near as bad as the other reviews had described. You close your doors and and you can hardly hear a thing!! anyway it all finishes up at just after 10pm. Fantastic room and view and you're right in the centre of everything. We will be back!!
Beautiful location, beautiful food in the restaurant and beautiful room however the noise was dreadful, partying outside went on until 4am. If you are looking for a getaway with partying and no sleep then is ideal for you.
The parking situation really needs to be improved, 11 bays for one what 28 rooms I think I counted? We were able to park in the guest bays once the whole weekend - because it’s a busy area we had to park miles away and walk, the same car park is used for all venues in the vicinity, was extremely annoying! Noise was an issue, rooms have absolutely no sound proofing, could hear people in the hallways with no respect for other guests, doors slam so loud and you can hear them all. It is amongst loud venues and all the different music kind of blended together and was just noise in the end. If you’re one of the party goers it’s a good option, but if you want quiet, don’t attempt. The bed we had, one side was collapsed internally, so I slept in a ditch/hole, wasn’t ideal or comfortable. When checking out there was no one to be found, sign on the desk said they wouldn’t be more than 10 minutes, waited over 15 before I wrote on a sticky note that we weren’t waiting any longer, we wanted to go home. If staff is leaving their desk they should be able to be contacted somehow. The views were lovely from the rooms, the TV was a nice size. The rooms were spacious and the furniture and colour choices made it a very comfortable environment.. until the noise.…
We stayed overnight on a Saturday. The room was lovely, spacious, clean, well appointed and with a very comfortable bed. Little point having a comfortable bed though when the hotel is too noisy for any hope of sleep. We were kept awake until 3 am by slamming doors and noisy guests. With no apparent effort by hotel staff to do anything about it. Which might have been survivable had we been able to sleep in. But we woken early as well. Given we spent $220 of our very hard earned cash on the hotel we felt completely ripped off. The focus of the venue is clearly the pubs and restaurants and attracting as many people as possible. The down side is that there is loud music until midnight (it was already playing when we arrived at 2 pm). The pool area was full of young people (not guests) enjoying cocktails and drinks from the nearby bar. There is no way the pool could have been enjoyed for a swim. Overall we were really disappointed and would not recommend this hotel at all…
