We stayed for just one night after leaving Kruga on our way to Cape Town. We had a great tour of the rehabilitation centre which was a 5 minute walk from our room in forest camp . Thanks to everyone there especially Crystal and Herdt who helped make our stay memorable. Great work done at the rehabilitation centre by all...

Manager/Ranger Bertjan made our experience even better than we could have asked for. He is knowledgeable and genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met. Food was excellent. Rooms are huge, beautiful and private. Wildlife wonders freely, but is not dangerous. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable!

Luxury chalets, staff were so friendly Krystal and Tamsyn and the rest of the team all so nice and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are lovely with comfortable beds and nice to be able to wake up in the morning and make yourself a cup of tea, open up the curtains and watch all the animals walk past! So...

The units are absolutely exquisite, private and so peaceful! The staff are all very professional and friendly (top notch) and the food was great! Compliments to the chef! We enjoyed the game drive and bush walk as well. The visit to the Rehab Centre was a real eye opener as to the dire situation our wildlife are in. We highly...

Tragically, we had only one night booked which we regretted. The rehabilitation centre itself is interesting and strikes a comfortable balance between tourist revenue and animal welfare ideals. Staying on site however took the experience to the next level: luxurious accommodation, albeit quirky. Traditional reed roofs and a bathroom to die for only enhanced by the noisy neighbours: the sounds...

This is the third time I've been here, and the second time I've stayed here..... and would happily do it again! And so would the other 12 folks from the USA who were with me! Since I personally don't often read reviews that are older than roughly a year, I thought there might be others who do the same when...

Spent 3 nights, as only guest here, and received excellent service from Evan our guide and Crystal Lodge Manager. Evan took us on daily morning bush walks with great animal sightings, and sundowner drives, also with great sightings. Evan is extremely knowledgeable abouth the bush, animals, trees, fauna etc., not to say safety walking in the bush. Visited the Animal...

Forest Camp was a total delight. We were greeted warmly upon arrival by Crystal, the manager, and her hospitality never let up, she was always there to make sure we had everything we needed. In fact, all members of the staff were attentive and eager to please. We sat down with Crystal and went through the activities which were included...

We have been to many places in SA however we've never experienced such an amazing management (Crystel) and staff, including the field guide (Evan). The lodge is situated in the forest which gives you the real Bush experience. From the bathroom you could even see the animals walking around! This in combination with the nice rooms, fantastic food (even gluten...
