Travellers' Choice
KARIJINI ECO RETREAT - Designed with the environment in mind - the semi-permanent deluxe eco tents, cabins, campground and facilities incorporate eco friendly practices which ensure environmentally sustainable management of the natural and cultural values of one of the most ancient landscapes on earth. A short walk trail leads directly from the campground into Joffre Gorge - stand at the top and you'll find yourself overwhelmed by this powerful creation of nature. Whether you are camping or 'glamping'(glamorous camping)- the retreat offers the perfect solution for travellers seeking to blend a rugged encounter in the pristine Karijini National Park, with the soft creature comforts that are not traditionally associated with camping. An outback style licensed alfresco restaurant adds glamorous flair to a 'gorgeous' day of trekking whilst the sunset slowly merges with an endless blanket of stars that seem to reflect the timelessness of this place.

We stayed 3 nights at the resort and loved every minute. The tent accommodation so unique and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is worthy of a fine dining tag. I was amazed at the quality that cam from essentially and out door kitchen. All of the staff without exception were friendly, efficient and great fun. This place is one in a million and should not be missed.

We stayed here for three nights and some were camping and I have chosen the tent, and it was the perfect decision and worth to pay more for an upgrade. The glamping tent and the huge bed were very comfortable. I slept very well. The Retreat in such an amazing Nationalpark is a beautiful location with a great Outback feeling. The tent was clean and the fan gave a special luxury feeing. The retreat restaurant was nice too and served delicious iced coffee and other drinks. The staff was very friendly. It is very good located near the main hiking path. We enjoyed our stay in my favorite Nationalpark in Western Australia. It's the perfect place to stay several nights

What a wonderful, magical place! We had four nights there towards the end of the season so it was starting to warm up (39C), but cool nights and fabulous sunrises over the "savannah" bush of the camp grounds. We "glamped" and it was brilliant. A short walk and you're at the lip of Joffre Gorge. A very special spot with a calming vibe. Good access to the other gorges, Hancock, Weano, Dales, but unfortunately the national park unsealed roads were the most washboarded I've ever come across and our poor little RAV4 got shaken, rattled, but not rolled. It was almost quicker and certainly more comfortable to go the long way on the sealed road from the resort to the Park Visitor Centre and Dales. Hopefully Parks and Wildlife can find some money to seal the last 3 km to the resort and even better the next 13 km to Weano & Hancock. The staff at KER were the best and the resort was well maintained and lived up to expectations.

Staying here for 2 nights in a deluxe tent was well worth the experience and cost. The surroundings and facilities are both better than expected. Loved the open air bathroom and lack of white noise. All the staff are absolutely lovely and happy to help.

Two night stay in tent with 3 single beds. Had a glamping pack which included $50 voucher, book on Karajini, bottle of wine, picnic lunch hamper. Well worth it. Accomodation is basic but beds were comfortable. Tents are spaced well apart. Can’t avoid the red dust though, but the experience is well worth it.
