Liked the set up of the hotel. The staff and owner were nice. Pros Beautful, secluded location Yoga is offered (had to leave early in the morning so I didn't take a class) Pool looked inviting (again had to leave early in the morning...) Interesting flora with signage indicating species and origin Cons Long drive (but what do you expect?)...

Loved the old fashioned cabins with hammocks. Loved the view, the food, the big house with large outdoor patio. Loved the foliage and the sound of the river down the hill. Loved that yoga is right on premises. Lovely little pool area. Great place for reflection and relaxation. A definate return.

Quiet and peaceful place nearly in the rain forest. Nice and simple rooms, with a beautiful setting in a gardened landscape. A little swimming pool is overlooked by the restaurant. We liked the food of the restaurant, if you go there, we suggest to give the French Toast at breakfast a chance, this is really something special! Due to the...

I never experienced a more relaxing and tranquil place. The pool was magical, this small hotel was beautiful, the only noise was the sound of a nearby river and some birds. The food of the restaurant of the hotel was ok, the rooms was clean, their employees were great and the whole environment was spectacular. The hotel had hot water...

This has to be one of the most relaxing spots on the planet. We stayed here for two nights in mid-September and, despite the fact that I had to work part of the time, it was impossible to be stressed. There's a charming pool, the rooms have lovely mountain and river views, and Stephen and staff are helpful and friendly....

We wanted to be totally removed from day to day urban life whilst being surrounded by lush scenery and so with a hammock to swing in, in order to take it all in on our balcony, we found the perfect way to kick start our tour of the region. We really loved the fact that there was no TV and...

Relaxing pool, mostly quiet, vegetarian food options were nice. Beautiful but a bit hard to get to (though worth it for sure).

My husband, brother & I spent two nights at Casa Grande at the end of a short trip to Puerto Rico (after San Juan & Rincon on the West Coast) and it was absolutely the highlight! We actually stayed there in March 2008 and came recommended to us by friends of ours (a couple living in the US Virgin Islands)....

If you are looking for a place with a lot to do, this isn't it. I spent several nights here reading, writing, swimming in the pool, going on walks, and doing yoga in the morning. It's removed from just about everywhere, and the road to it is windy and narrow - you aren't going to hop into town for a...
