Location was nice. Territory of resort is a little undeveloped. No places to be or to go. had to rent a car for entertainment, otherwise nothing to do in resort. No activities for kids. Food is fine, but variety is not so rich.More

From what we saw on the reportage, the hotel is pretty damaged. The lobby looked flooded and had lost its structure and didn't look like a lobby anymore. The roofs were severely damaged, the buildings surrounding the hotel were practically decimated, the pool didn't look much of a pool anymore, not to mention the beautiful landscaping is no more. And when you look in the distance, you don't see the trees that were adding beauty and serenity to the place. It's a total disaster. Today, they sent a drone to inspect the damage. Well, it showed desolation and the beautiful Riu is in mourning. I honestly cannot digest this hurtful fact, and I am hoping that the Riu will come back bigger and better. My family and I are very sad, and our thoughts go to all the hard working people that made our stay a one of a kind.
