This restaurant is in a small village outside of Loches! The cuisine is excellent! I highly recommend the fois gras! Word of warning, this is a 2 hour lunch! The lamb chips and the tirimusu with red fruit was also very good!

Having read the reviews we were very disappointed with this hotel, and it certainly does not offer value for money. Our room was on the first floor front and whilst OK could have done with a loving touch. The waste basket had not been emptied following the previous occupation. The bathroom had a horrid plastic shower cubicle stuck in the...

This small town has just about one of everything, which somehow seems to be enough. The hotel is on the main road through town but the road is fairly quiet so the traffic noise just below our window was minimal. The hotel staff was welcoming and friendly, and their breakfast was wonderful. We would stay here again.

Village with interesting chateau and museum of pre-history. Small hotel, rooms simple but clean - the second floor is WAY up high, so try for first! Dinner very good and reasonably priced, great local wine under €20. Good breakfast selection. The gentleman who was front-of-house was friendly and helpful. There's a (very small) market in the square outside the hotel...

Excellent food at a modest cost. We ate here one evening in November when few tourists were around and only two other tables were occupied. The dinning room had tasteful decorations including a display of branches with candles that normally would look peculiar but somehow worked and set the scene for a different dining experience. The food was delightful, presented...

We stayed at Le Savoie Villars for 5 nights while visiting relatives in a village nearby, taking the half-board option when booking. It has been recently renovated with care, flair and attention to detail. Le Grand Pressigny was rather quiet in the evenings but admittedly this was out of season. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, occasionally upgrading the menu...

We have eaten lunch and dinner here several times since the hotel re-opened three months ago. The food is excellent value and it's nice to see the hotel done up in a clean and relatively modern style. The menu choices are good. Service does vary from slick to slow, the last occasion being so busy that we were amazed that...

Would definitely recommend this restaurant if passing through or staying in Le Grand Pressigny. We lunched here with friends, each having the three course menu of the day which was excellent value at 13.50euro a head. The quality was definitely beyond the price. Although we didn't stay in the hotel, it does look great and I would definitely consider staying...

We arrived at the Savoie Villars as part of a large family group of 29 people celebrating 3 birthdays at the same time. The atmosphere was fantastic as we settled on the terrace. We weren't the only people dining there, but we felt very special. We had people from Argentina, Spain, France, England, and Canada. The service was incredibly good...

Despite having been booked months in advance they were completely unprepared for our party even though the tables were laid for us.We had to go to a nearby bar for a drink. The waitress was extremely stressed and we had to wait a very long time for anything. When our host dared to complain the proprietor came out and very unpleasently ranted...

I would like to add some information to your words that does not reflect reality. We prepared was visiting since your table was ready, but your group has preferred to go take a drink at the bar of a side which has considerably delay the service In fact you weren't alone this day and lesser things when reservation for 7:30...
