I could prattle on and on about the beautiful rooms and grounds and wonderful hosts. Memorable indeed as others have stated. My review is focused on the two perfectly cooked fried eggs I had for breakfast. Best I've ever had. So simple and good they were gone before I even thought to take a picture. Sometimes it's the small things... More

We stayed in the studio with its own garden separate from the main house. Lovely gardens around the main house. Comfortable lounge area. Location very close to Arommanches les Bain and to Bayeux. The studio is very well equipped and is really peaceful.

What can you say? This is the best b&b we have stayed at and we have stayed at a few. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean. The hosts are ever so friendly, the breakfast excellent with fresh pancakes and omelettes. The gardens are wonderful with sheep and donkeys nearby and the D-Day beaches and the lovely town of Bayeaux... More

Just returned from 12 days in France and stayed at the Clos des Pommiers for 3 nights. It is a beautiful home with very gracious owners. I stayed in the annex which was very nicely furnished. Breakfast was included. A very large meal is offered including choice of eggs, crepes, breads, juice, fresh fruit, meat, a variety of local cheeses... More

We stayed two nights at the Clos des Pommiers, a modern house perfectly located in the centre of the "Normandy Beaches". Our room (Côté Campagne) was spacious, beautifully decorated and had all amenities one could possibly wish for: sofa and desk with table for daytime seating, a kettle to make coffee / tea in room, tv, and a spacious, modern... My husband and I stayed at Clos des Pommiers four nights in the "champagne" room, the one with poppies painted on the wall. It was roomy, beautifully appointed, very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was quite large, and we were supplied with plush towels. We were received with a warm welcome by Bridgette and served a full breakfast each morning.... More

A short break with my parents just 4 miles from historic Bayeux and 2 miles from Arromanches. We received a warm welcome upon arrival after an easy drive from Calais, and our two rooms were adjacent to each other on the first floor. Both were spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished/decorated, with large ensuite bathrooms. A plentiful breakfast was included... More

We stayed at Clos des Pommiers Chambre d'hôtes for three nights and loved every moment. Beautiful modern room with large bathroom with plenty of towels. Breakfast was excellent every morning. Owner even agreed to cook dinner for us one evening. Located three kilometers from Arromanches-les-Bains, it is practical to find restaurants for dinner.

We were made very welcome in this spacious and tastefully decorated Bed & Breakfast acccommodation. Dinner (optional extra) was very good. There were four of us at the large table andwe were fortunate that our fellow guests were able to speak some English, so that along with our poor French, the conversation flowed. It was based on local produce and... More
