We were four families staying for a week of waterskiing adventure. The weather was pristine and park barely booked. Cabins were very clean, beds comfortable and sheets crisp. Air conditioning in every room. Kids rode bikes, swam and kayaked in the divine river and ski-ed. Barely saw them all week.
As a holiday destination, this park best suits those with boats and water sports paraphernalia.
Had a great time! PS- Only downside is not enough cooking utensils. Please add potato mashers, egg beater, sharper knives, and a fry pan. Otherwise, best week ever.

Huge sites right on the Clarence river. Staff member Mel was very helpful. Limited sites available for campers, most are permanent ski boat cabins. We visited in the quiet season, February, so nice and peaceful with only one other camper near us. We can imagine in peak season this park would be extremely busy, with ski boats and lots of kids everywhere. Powered river site $50 a night.

Really enjoyed the fantastic quiet location. Staff were so friendly. We were able to check out as late as we liked which was great. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Facilities were very clean except the camp fridge which could do with a wash. Had to buy fresh water there if needed but overall loved the place. Nice walk along the river and plenty of wild life. Would camp again.

We stayed in one of the well set up non ensuite cabins and had everything we needed in there to make our stay perfect. Cooking equipment, utensils, mini fridge/freezer, electric stove and oven, toaster, tv, ac, the list goes on. Sheets, pillows, towels and some toiletries also supplied. All you need to bring is your toothbrush and clothes that’s it!
Great boat ramp, ample parking for trailer and well thought out little beach coves to pull the boat up into.

We went to Grafton for the Jacaranda festival and found Grafton to have so much more to offer. Whilst the Big4 River Holiday Park was slightly further out of town than expected, it was still close enough to gi back and forth a couple of times a day to the various activities being only a 15 min drive to the town. The staff were friendly and helpful, communication was excellent and the facilities really good. We were camping in a river front site with glorious if windy views of the river. Amenities were near by and there is an excellent camp kitchen which we didn’t need to use but would be a good place to hang out if the weather was inclement. Can highly recommend!

We have stayed at several Big4 parks over the years and this one has been the best one by far! We stayed in a pool side villa which was modern and spacious making it feel like home away from home. The park offered different activities which my children loved which included the jumping pillow, tennis and chess and loved swimming in the pool. Would highly recommend this cabin for large families like ours. Look forward to returning in the future :-)

We have been staying here for a number of years now and until recently the management were horrendous. New owners have established new management and the whole park atmosphere has changed. Grounds and facilities are maintained, and nothing is too much trouble. A breath of fresh air from the previous Ogres that managed the place. Have been back for Aus day and can’t wait to get back for Easter!

We had a great enjoyable stay in the riverfront cabin. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The deck on the cabin overlooking the river was the place to spend the time….beautiful outlook. It’s about 20 mins drive to Grafton I’d say so best to get yourself organised with groceries etc on the way. We would happily stay there again and probably will

When I booked the cabin I logged our arrival time as 8pm. I followed that up with a phone call and left a message to arrange the key pick up. I then sent an email to the address the message bank directed me to. When we arrived there was no key, no email message and no phone answer so my we slept in the car in the car park. When we checked in the next day there was no explanation and no offer to refund. Beautiful river frontage and well mown lawns but zero service.

Unfortunately, when the booking was made online an incorrect contact number was entered and the attempts to reach the office were after hours. We rely on guests to provide accurate information so that we are able to communicate all things relevant to their stay with us, particularly late check-ins. A quick call to the after hours number located at reception door and the issue would have been resolved in a matter of moments. Your feedback the next day regarding the after hours number also being on the Confirmation Correspondence has been noted and we thank you for the great idea. We are disappointed to read this review as we take pride in our customer service and offering the very best in guest satisfaction. We wish you the very best with your future travels.

Hired the house for a family catchup. Great place for adults and kids. Excellent grass around the house to allow kids room to play outside. Staff were very friendly and attentive to all requests put to them.
