I stayed in the Ibis Budget Derby Hotel for a month in December/January, including through the Christmas and New Year period. The staff at the hotel were great, kept my room and everything else clean and safe, and were always available to assist. It may only be a budget hotel, but the service was first class, often better than I have experienced in much more expensive hotels. Thanks everyone.

Cheap and cheerful, get what you pay for which is fine. Breakfast was below par, but filled a gap. The worst thing, I was put in room 132, right above the main entrance door, each time the door opened and shut, all night it woke me up! I had zero sleep, absolutely the worst night ever!! Terrible.

Was driving up north got tired at sheffield so rang up at 2am and they let us boom in we arrived and paid went to sleep. Free parking on site and was very convenient as a sort of 'motel'. I only left a 3 star rating as the breakfast was bad...horrid sausages and an egg that could only be described as a bouncy disc. Overall is a good hotel for money but dont expect luxury and dont bother getting breakfast

Hotel was nice and easy to find and right next to the motorway links, on arrival the staff were really friendly and super welcoming of our little English springer Millie! Our room was more than adequate and so so clean! Our only suggestion would be to install an extractor fan in the toilet (it’s all very close and could become awkward 🙈😂) We stayed 2 nights for £65 including the £10 pet charge (£5 per night) amazing value for money! We would definitely stay again if in the area, highly recommended!

On arriving we were informed that there were not tea/coffee making facilities withing in the room but we could help ourselves to the boiling water and sachets just to the right of reception. The room itself was small but fine for our needs (rest before long drive the next day). There was a double bed with a single bunk above. The bathroom although again small was great as well and the shower was hot and powerful. Would stay again as it is cheap but surprisingly good value.
