    stayed here a few times now,lovely place and staff always helpful nothing too much trouble,will stay again when we up there.asked for a river view and got it.10 min walk to metro centre.took the dog this time and she had her own bed.

    Room No 301, lovely clean room, very quiet, was advised by a member of staff about stag and hen nights, but was not disturbed at all. The young lady on reception, Tara was most helpful when I arrived.

    Really sorry I am not sure, you would be better phoning the hotel directly to ask them. You can find the number on the Travelodge website by selecting the Gateshead hotel.

    If you take the cycle path - walking route at the rear of the hotel along the side of the Tyne it's a short pleasant walk to the Metro Centre without the hassle of traffic. You only have to cross when you reach the... More

    It is a bit out of town but only a taxi drive away. During the day hit the shops in the Metrocentre just a short walk away.
