Everything was spotlessly clean, bed were very comfortable. We were provided with milk, tea and coffee. There is shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. Our room had a bathtub. Parking is underneath, I feel you psy enough for the room without the extra $45 per night to park.
5 min walk to Commbank Stadium.

Not what we paid for. The cost is enormous for one night - over $700 NYE rate, but you receive nothing extra for the rate, ie: The bar closes as 10.00pm even on NYE! so if you are charging extra, pay your staff to stay two hours longer on NYE! ONE PERSON....and there was no restaurant open - another reason we picked this hotel.
The room service has NO vegetarian options in the main meals, in fact the only thing a vegetarian can eat is chips (labelled as steak cut chips, but they were fries) and garlic bread. Although the room was clean, the bed very comfortable as in it was two single beds pushed together, but you couldn't tell, which was a bonus. The glasses for drinking tap water were filthy with finger prints all over them, when I took them to the reception, all I said was 'these are the drinking glasses in our room' the receptionist immediately said ''OMG, I'm so sorry''. Then she couldn't find me any replacements, so we ended up with wine glasses. There were no hand towels in our room which meant our bath towels were wet from wiping our hands on them before we had showers. The communal areas of the hotel are filthy. The lift was dirty, not vacuumed, the mirrors in the lift filthy, the foyer dirty, the windows dirty. The carpets dirty and food stuff all over them. The room is very dated. Definitely not 4 star at all. There were no extra pillows and our bed was short one pillow, no extra blankets and no water in our room. The carpark has rubbish strewn everywhere. The hotel staff are just wonderful and tried hard to accommodate people who were complaining. But I will never ever stay here again and I will never recommend this hotel. I don't know what has happened in Australia where we think its ok to charge people premium dollars and provide filth and no service. Clean up your act NOVOTEL.

Stayed at Novotel parramatta a number of times. Great location. Wonderful staff. Breakfast enjoyable even though busy staff were quick to clear tables
Best cheese platters
Our upgraded room included a separate bedroom. Perfect.

this well located hotel is in the middle of all the action
Commbank stadium is a short 5 min walk and trams are at the front door to take you to Westmead or the train station
Rooms are exceptional and the staff from the GM down are excellent and friendly
The restaurant is wonderful and resonably priced or 1you could choose to wander along Church Street
We will be back

Where to start. I travel for business and stay in hotels every second or third week around Australia. Cons: Arrived at about 8.40 pm after a long day at work. Reception guy was completely disengaged and gave me no information about the property. Ordered room service via the QR code in the room at 8.45pm. By 9.45 no food in sight so called reception to be advised “the restaurant is closed, the kitchen mustn’t have got the order”. I asked what could be done, he said “I can give you a breakfast voucher”. Went to bed frustrated and hungry. Lightning in room and bathroom is terrible. I’m 5.4 and shower head was at my eye level and over bath so made showering a difficult task. Thank goodness for the mirror in the elevator as that’s the only way you can check your appearance (all guests were doing same, adjusting ties, belts, etc while riding down) Housekeeping failed to service my room on any day during my 3 night stay, even though I had requested it on checkin. They could have at least cleared rubbish and replaced the 4 tiny milk pods i was provided on checkin. Asked to review my account before checkout but guy on reception just read it out with no amounts then handed me the account which only showed payment made not itemized charges. At 5.30am I just wanted out. Pros: room service dinner on final night was delivered by a lovely friendly girl and food was delicious. This girl should be transferred to reception as the others need serious training in basic customer service.
In short I will never stay here again and have advised our travel arranger to avoid at all costs for any other staff.

I stayed here for 4 nights on business but would never stay here again. It felt like a dodgy hotel, not a Novotel! The walls are paper thin and I could hear other guests (who weren’t even being loud) coming and going from their rooms and talking. I am a very deep sleeper but was continually woken by guests coming and going. I had my room cleaned daily but my used coffee mugs were never taken away and replaced with clean ones, and the bin in my bathroom was not emptied once. The air conditioner was extremely loud and made an awful sound every time it needed to adjust to a cooler setting and it rattled like that until the room cooled down, and would ramp up again when the room warmed up.
The only positives were that the front desk staff were very professional and friendly, the shower pressure was good and the bed was ok.

I don’t usually write reviews however; this stay was more than questionable.
We checked in for 2 nights, two adults and a toddler.
The shower had mould and dirt on the walls.
The restaurants food was inedible, the MasterChef take on the bruschetta was disgusting, the steak was like rubber. We paid 200 dollars for three course meal that was basically horrible and more than one meal was not eaten. The only meal that was worth getting is the kids spaghetti. Even the table next to us complained and laughed at how bad the food was. It also took forever to come out.
The second night we ate at the bar and there were only a few people that were sitting in there and we ordered and waited over an hour before any of the meals come out and drinks were longer than that. We didn’t receive some of the order and were charged and had desert before the chicken buns came out late and their solution was to give us another plate of inedible food.
And to top it off we left an item in the room and apparently it has just disappeared…and we have been given the run around
The only upside to this hotel is that is has parking and is relatively close to children’s hospital. Otherwise save your money and go elsewhere.
I have stayed in pubs that have better service than this hotel.

The journey started when I rang Nimna to book for the following day. I wasn't expecting any rooms, but she was very happy to help, and when she said it was for authorised workers only, I mentioned we were down for a medical procedure, and she told us that was ok. She even upgraded us to a King Superior room, and near the lift, due to my partner's mobility issues. I met the lovely Insiya the morning of check in. She too was very helpful and friendly. When I mentioned I was having issues with the a/c, she got it investigated (rooms only go as low as 20...a little warm for our liking) and moved us to the cooler side of the hotel (southside if anyone is curious). The hotel manager was also helpful, sorry I didn't catch your name sir, and friendly, and explained that the rooms have Chromecast that you can use through the hotel's wifi. This was great to know, and I happily binged some TV whilst my partner was at Westmead having her procedure. The hospital is only a 5-10 min drive, traffic and lights depending, from the hotel. The room had a chaise lounge, which was helpful for my partner with her recovery. We didn't hear any noise from the light rail construction, up on level 9, so it was good and quiet. We had room service breakfast on our final morning, and it was delicious and generous. It saved us stopping for food on the 3 hour trip home. I highly recommend staying here for any reason, including if you're going to Westmead Hospital, it's good value, comfortable, accomodation. The staff members I met were very friendly, and willing to have a chat. At the time of writing, late September 2021, there is light rail construction in front of the hotel, thus access is via Market St.
The only negative I have of the hotel is the cost of car parking. Despite the carpark being nearly empty, due to lockdown and limited access, they still charged $25/day. I feel it should have been free, or significantly cheaper, for guests, under the circumstances.

Responded 29 Sept 2021
Dear Darren M, Thank you for staying with us at Novotel Sydney Parramatta and taking the time to share your valuable feedback. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. The bathroom roof leaked and made noise all night. We were given the room next door (eventually!) but could still hear the dripping. Asked for some thinner pillows three times, finally they told us they didn’t have any. I was only staying there to ensure a safe drive home, but got no sleep, so would have been better driving home at the end of the day. Staff didn’t care at all, and requests to move were not handed over to staff on the new shift. My ACCOR membership was not acknowledged at check in…I could keep going…. The menu at the restaurant was very limited and the ambience non existent. Not Novotel standard at all.

Friendly and kind staff members-reception, bar, breakfast restaurant and the chefs.
Breakfast items were very limited in choice regarding the price ($32 per adult) but we were still happy to dine in the restaurant after all the Covid restictions.
Children's dietary requirements were carefully looked after.
king spa suite was an exellent choice, perfectly caters for our family needs.
We will definately go back there in the near future.
Only down side would be the use of pool/spa and steam room. Even though we were the only guests each time, reception staff called in our room to ask for a key back. We felt a little rushed and not 100 per cent relaxed while using the facility.
