I suppose that One of my favorite movies, "Shining" was filmed here... Very old fashioned room, cold, outside air came from the windows, noisy, somone made homework until 9pm... the never change the sheets. Absolutly negative.

I had first stopped at the Alcudia Petit Hotel but as the front door was firmly locked with a sign stating "reduced service, please telephone number ....." (and although I returned three times there was never anybody there) it was a real pleasure to find this Hostal a few meters down the road. I was given a room on the...

Four of us were visiting S'Albufera and Alcudia for the day in early November. Many restaurants were closed and we were getting a bit desperate when we stumbled across Fonda Llabres. At first glance we thought it was just a cafe but then we saw the extensive menu and decided to take a chance. It proved a very good choice....

I think we were upgraded (my friend was the one booking quite a while back so we didn't really know what we had booked) and we really enjoyed the stay. Really really friendly staff from minute one, nice atmosphere in general and amazing views (with a kind reminder of the time every 15 minutes courtesy of the council). Everything else...

We went back for a second visit as we felt that the food was good and at a reasonable price (unlike other expensive and mediocre restaurants on the Plaza). Good for families but our grandson didn't like the sausage in the children's menu hot dog.

What a find. We were staying in Palma but came to Alcudia to visit my sister. We needed a stop over for the night. We booked through Booking.com. This is a beautiful little hotel. It is advertised as a hostel because some of the rooms do not have bathrooms. There are rooms with bathrooms though. We got room 5 €65...

We visited twice for a coffee and the second time tried out some of the pastries on display. We chose the almond biscuits which were made on the premises and which were delicious. As other people have commented, the staff are very friendly and this adds to the experience.

Authentic spanish hospitality in a restored hotel/restaurant at a great position in the old town. Staff was very polite and friendly, rooms were cleaned and maintained all the time. The food we had at the restaurant was superb. We had amazing time at Fonda Llabres, will surely return whenever we visit this charming town again.

We stayed there 5 days and it was really nice. The room was clean and the air conditioning is just perfect with the Spanish climate. Located in the really center of Alcudia with everything near by. I recommend it for the price and the quality you get for it.

Hotel is clean, and in a great location. This was my first time in Mallorca and I would defiantly come back to this hotel. It was clean and in a great location in the center of this perfect old Spanish town. A great base for my stay. Close to mountains and beaches. Rooms are cleaned daily and there is AC....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Not many people are unfamiliar with La Fonda Llabrés, a guest house wich is located on the Plaza de la Constitución ( Constitución Square ), just right in the town centre. Bought in 1950 by the family Llabrés, La Fonda became the first guest house in town.Ever since then, new hotels have been built and as a result the number of tourists has increased rapidly. At the same time La Fonda has adapted itself to current times. “No elevators :) I wouldnt ask for "quiet" room again, because the whole area is kind of quiet, with the only noise being the people in the restaurants. You can get both a nicer street view and a good sleep :)”
