From the flagstone floors, through to the oak beams, excellent real ale and wholesome food, this pub is everything a real country pub should be. We stopped by for a pint after walking the dogs but we're so comfortable sat by the roaring fire that we stayed a while and enjoyed a lovely bowl of soup. The staff are attentive...

Popped in here for lunch on the off chance. Couldn't have wished for better......lovely food, lovely staff, proper old English pub interior with log fires and that atmosphere that only comes about because it's right. You couldn't manufacture this kind of thing, it's right because it's like it is and it's like it is because it's right (does that make...

This is only a few miles from home, and we often pop over for lunch. The welcome is always warm, as are the the log fires. The menu is excellent, with ample helpings, and changes with the seasons. In the good weather, you can enjoy the garden, with extensive views over the Cotswold valley towards Chalford.

Stumbled across this gem whilst looking for new pastures. Very welcoming staff and great food to satisfy a healthy appetite following a brisk walk. Comfortable accommodation with added value of full size single beds in family room. Great fish dishes on the Specials Board was a welcoming choice at this festive time of year. Look forward to returning again very...

The whole place was very comfortable, we felt as if we were staying in a friends spare bedroom. All the staff we met were very friendly, and the two dogs made it a home from home for us. Log fires in cosy little rooms, great on a cold winter evening. My negatives were overwritten by the fantastic food, service and...

This pub is local to friends and offers great food and a great drinks list. It is ideal to pop in here after walks around the local area. The setting is cosy with a nice atmosphere :-) I would recommend this pub to anyone and it's worth a pop in visit if you are passing.

This cosy, welcoming little gem is in the heart of a beautiful Cotswolds village. The rooms are in a newer built extension but the pub at the heart is lovely and old conplete with roaring fires, oak beams and welcoming staff and locals. The food completes the package together with a selection of regional beers. I almost didnt write this...
