Stayed here for valentines night on our way somewhere - booked 2 days before. We chose it for its old charm and history along with their restaurant. It's certainly very remote and would love to return in the summer and sadly it was a very quick visit. We arrived at 8pm - table booked for 8.30. Quick check in and...

Gorgeous walks all around fab pub food and is a real English old pub- with dogs and settles, open fires and good ale and food. The fish and chips my teens had were fab. I had a wonderful steak and the hubby had the steak and ale pie- all gorgeous. Would definitely go back.

After a 5 mile trek the pub was a welcome sight and offered a great lunch even though a little pricey. The sandwiches are a good buy though as they're big and tasty especially with a side of chunky chips. Lovely log fires burned in each bar to give us a cosy feel.

We had a lovely Sunday roast here, recommended by a friend. Lovely building with lots of character. The staff were very welcoming. Lovely log fire to add to the cosy, charming ambience. Well worth trying again.

The Crown Inn lies in the little village of Frampton Mansell, a blink and you'll miss it hamlet of the Cotswolds. The Inn itself is not the largest establishment but it has a good menu with plenty of traditional options. Service is somewhat slow, but this might be reflective of village lifestyle. Rooms are well presented but there is a...

We drove in from Chalford Hill through the hair-raising back road at night and so were relieved to find the Crown Inn and secure a table for dinner. The atmosphere is wonderful and the wait staff were extremely accommodating given we didn't have a reservation (and so time-limited our table which was fine and a win-win). The food was marvellous...

A charming relatively small pub with a good quality 12 room annex for that overnight stay. Open fires in the bar area to keep you toasty while sampling the many beers / Ales or Cider being an old cider house. Breakfast sets you up for the day.
