We have been hers before, however the hotel has just been fully refurbished - the public areas are now so much lighter and brighter, whilst still retaining the character of the building. Accommodation is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed on a coach package for 3 days/2 nights breakfast and dinner as part of a visit to the Bristol Balloon Fiesta. We were fortunate to be allocated a 1st floor room overlooking the lawn area. The room was clean, the bed v. comfortable, bags delivered to our door promptly. Dinner and breakfasts were of good quality, and all...

A family friend recently got married at the Rococo Gardens, with the reception held at the Bowden Hall Hotel. We decided to stay for two nights and make a weekend of it. Almost everything about our stay was picture perfect: the hotel has recently been refurbished, and feels very luxurious; the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient; the food was...

I was in Gloucester on business and booked in for one night. It's in a lovely setting framed by green hills. The main building is a striking Georgian country house, and you get a real sense of arriving at somewhere special. On a summers evening, after a long day, it looked like a real oasis. Reception , don't be confused...

This is a most elegant hotel in lovely surroundings. The staff were most helpful and professional. The self service breakfast was well cooked excellent. Evening meal was again well presented. One downside there is no lift here compliments of the local planning authority.

I must say I haven't stayed here yet and am not really looking forward to it. The customer service isn't very good. Being in the wrong frame of mind, carelessly I booked a room on the wrong date. (For next weekend) Straight after realising I had booked the wrong date, I phoned up and spoke to a company who deal...

Met a colleague here for drinks and dinner (he was resident, not I). The upscalng of the hotel's reception rooms, bar and restaurant were really nice; the gardens looked fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bar was great and the meal we had in the restaurant was really nice. No complaints about any of it.
