If you have ever been for a meal here on any other day but Sunday I know why you might not want to go back but trust me the Sunday lunch is the absolute best around. My husband & I frequently eat out, especially on Sundays and have tried several places. We have eaten at The Beacon many times for...

We have just spent 2 nights at the Beacon, visiting friends for a birthday party. We were looked after so well, the room was lovely. The kids loved the bunk beds! All the food was great, especially the buffet for the party. This is just how a village pub should be, welcoming and friendly! Can't wait to stay again!

Came to this pub for a quick lunch during a busy day and were not disappointed. Steve and staff were excellent hosts. It was a quiet time, but our room was really comfy and had everything you need. The meal (me liver and bacon, my wife a wonderful fish pie) was great pub grub, with real mashed potatoes, and a brilliant bread and butter pudding! Breakfast was good, and the location - just 5 minutes from...

We stayed for one night as we had been visiting a friend in Quedgley and it is only 10minutes away. Our triple room was clean and comfortable and nice and warm on a chilly wet November night. We did not eat in the evening as we had already been fed by our friend but looking at the menu we will...

Went here again for lunch with friends and as usual the food was really good, the choice is varied and the veg are always freshly cooked. The waitress was helpful and cheerful but the same could not be said for the man who (I won't say greeted us it's would be a misnomer). When we arrived he just said "...
