The nicely situated residential area is the main attraction of this hotel; the welcome and service we experienced as rather lukewarm. The rooms are small but cozy and our bathroom clearly outdated; a bathtub with hand shower only. (How come some hotels think that guests need a tub more than a proper shower?) The french breakfast at 9.00 euros can...

Lovely hotel. Beautiful grounds, well presented rooms, excellent food. Great value. Owners very polite, friendly and efficient. Loved the resident retriever and the overall feel of the hotel. Fabulous!

I was attracted by other good reviews on Tripadvisor, but I was to be sadly disappointed. After telephoning to secure our booking I was assured that I would be offered two single beds and a sea view. On arrival, and after a lengthy journey from the South of France, was shown a double-bedded room on the second floor. I was...

A lovely family run hotel, with great staff providing good and friendly service. Tosca the golden retriever is part of this team, and often joins you on the terrace for pre and post dinner drinks! dining room is elegant, with views to the sea. Food good, with an interesting but not expensive wine list. Gardens are lovely - well kept...

No matter how it is officially listed, this is not a real hotel. This a guest house with hotel rates and hostel quality of service. We, in a family trip, booked a room on advance on the phone, location looked very nice and also the restaurant seemed decent. So we booked a room with half-board. - they said they had...

We came to this restaurant on a very busy Sunday with 4 adults and 2 toddlers. They were very accommodating and the food was beautifully cooked. I had the traditional Marmite de Poisson which was so tender and delicious. My wife had the lobster which was very good also. The kids were well catered for with lovely poached fish in...

We arrived at Hotel de la Terrasse whilst looking for somewhere to dine (and escape the rain) during a recent camping trip in Normandy. We only visited the restaurant, so this is a restaurant review only. The staff were friendly and accommodating, we did not have a booking and they found a table for us despite being very busy that...

The Lady et moi visited Hotel de la Terasse sometime ago for my birthday but still have good memories about it. Excellent food ( at breakfast Madame mentioned the baguette was very hard, only to discover she broke a tooth) and a lovely peaceful environment. The rooms are fine too, with a strategically placed mirror although the bed was too...

Beautifully located and attractive building just a few minutes walk from the beach. Our bedroom had a sea view and was freshly, if simply, decorated with a small but well-fitted bathroom. The hotel terrace, with views of the sea, is ideal for pre-dinner drinks and there is also a garden for sitting out in the good weather. In the restaurant...
