Room was old and tired. Needs a proper clean and it also felt damp. It felt like i was staying in a refugee building once in the room! I would not recommend staying here unless its a last resort that is for sure!

Our trip and need for overnight accommodation was rushed; we booked the night before. The place had good parking spaces, the building had character, and was generally clean and tidy. We were received by a warm, friendly lady and the staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Our room was neat and tidy, however it was screaming for a refurbishment.... More

I stayed here with my dog a few weeks ago for one night. The room was one of, if not the worst that I have stayed in. The decor was tired and as soon as I walked in the room felt very damp. I had to have the windows wide open the whole time I was there to alleviate this... More

Rude staff, we had to move rooms as the first room smelt terrible. There was a surcharge for a cooked breakfast which is a bit much when paying £85 per room. Also, toilet rolls wall mounted behind the toilet are not very handy! Would not stay here again, and will be telling others to avoid it. Poor housekeeping, beds weren't... More

A friend and I stayed Friday night. I called and asked if they accepted dogs and she said that would be fine however I didn't realise we would be penalised for having them. I think they put us in the worst rooms. The showers had mold growing up them so we decided not to use them. The rooms were very... More

Although locks and 3 keys for access confusing clearly in need of refurbishment. But slept ok room was clean. Had a meal there first night. Was ok not much choice. Vension pie was a tad... More

We booked a two night stay for my elderly grandparents. We were at a wedding during the day and so had arranged a late check-in. Unfortunately the hotel had a 'computer crash' a month before the date of our arrival which apparently meant that their room was double booked. We're all human and mistakes happen but the Little Thatch hotel... More

This is a nice Hotel/Bed and breakfast .. Rooms - good size a strange way of locking door when you come out of room but you do get used to it !! Rooms are well equipped TV, hairdryer ask at reception for iron. Breakfast - with normal room rates it is a continental breakfast, but is only a small amount... More

Popped in to support local establishment for a drink. Easy to park. Pleasant surroundings. On entering the bar area we noticed quite a musty smell. We then went to the bar to order our drinks. There were 5 customers in the bar area but no staff. We waited and waited a good 5-10 minutes before a member of staff came... More
