We stayed at Nai Harn for the fourth time – as always it was beautiful and very relaxing for body and soul. Great location with fantastic views over the bay, yachts, sky and sea. To the beach you just go down (via a small road) there are sun loungers, umbrellas, towels and water sports equipment. The sun loungers and umbrellas are placed by the hotel service on request. The three restaurants are very good, in addition there is a live cooking sushi kitchen on the rooftop bar – super delicious and totally nice the two sushi chefs. But also the room service is great. The breakfast buffet has everything your heart desires. Then in the evening a sundowner on the fantastic rooftop bar with the cool beats of a live band. Oh yes, and then there is the SPA – the ambience in the treatment rooms is pleasant, relaxing music plays to the massages. The rooms themselves are a bit old – but the quality of the massage makes up for it.
From our suite we could even observe bats at dusk and in the morning you are greeted with birdsong. A hotel with a special flair, precisely because it is not a “slick” new building and it has a few “age spots” at one point or another, I find it simply enchanting and stunningly beautiful. The complex is very well maintained and is constantly maintained (painters and gardeners can be seen daily, but do not disturb in any way). The entire facility is permanently maintained, which is certainly not an easy task in the climate, the hillside location and with the jungle in the back. The maids lovingly decorate the room from time to time with towel animals, small flowers or other nice surprises. In the evening, the night service brings delicious cookies and we see if everything is okay.
You just always feel welcome. We love Phuket and the Nai Harn is for us it is the most beautiful place on Phuket - the next stay is already booked.

It's the first time we've gone to Thailand. Long searched, boyal to lose. I wanted to be super. And we got it. Relaxed with your husband for 10 days. They took breakfast. Location and beach - best in Phuket . The hotel is tiered, airy. Despite being almost full load , but crowded not noticed .
This room has a balcony with sea view and exceeded all expectations. The room has everything you need, daily cleaning and 4 bottles of potable delicious water in the glass (!) Breakfasts are regular , for the European way . But quite diverse. There were three kinds of freshly squeezed fruit-berry-vegetable juice, a table with fruit. Not enough cheeses and fish, the rest is enough. Coffee was taken chilled in glass bottles. The downstairs bar gives out kayaks, towels, sunbeds. You can have dinner in beach cafes, but we went to Ravai. Not far away at all - liked the restaurant AVO. Ravai itself has many different restaurants/cafes/diners , for every appetite , wallet and taste . Near the beaches of Kata (walk and swim) . The area itself also liked. And beyond the underwater world is very close to ํYanui Beach. I think I'd like to go back and do this hotel again.

Wanted a chill out week after touring Cambodia and this was a perfect choice to relax and get a taste of Thailand (our first time).
We had a Deluxe Ocean View room on the 9th floor (903) and the views were breathtaking (as everywhere in the hotel and grounds are), we only had a small balcony on this level but it suited us perfectly. The room was very spacious with the most comfortable bed, duvet and pillows you could wish for. The only drawback being on the 9th floor was that the lift only went to the 6th floor and was at the other end of the building so it was a bit of a trek to the room especially in the heat.
Great choice of food at breakfast, I have never stayed anywhere with so much to choose from. We were staying over the Easter period and to top it all there were even hot cross buns in the bread section on Good Friday! We ate at both of the restaurants during our stay and found the food to be good although on the expensive side. There are lots of places to eat locally so there are other options if you wish.
Loved happy hour at the Reflections Rooftop bar, great to sit out and enjoy the sunset with live music every night.
The beach is easy to walk to and although public we didn’t find it too busy, beautiful sand and clear waters. The hotel provided deck chairs, sun shades & towels for on the beach.
We enjoyed our experience of taking part in the alms giving ceremony – the hotel donates food to the local monks weekly and guests can take part in the ceremony if they wish, it was a nice gesture to be involved.
We booked 2 excursions through the hotel, a half day visit to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and a trip the Phi Phi Islands. Would highly recommend the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary but the boat trip was a bit disappointing, sounded good but didn’t live up to expectations, too many people going to the same places and although Maya Bay was beautiful it was horrendously busy even though we were supposedly the last boat. We also got a taxi from the local taxi rank and he took us to all the places we wanted to see – Karon Viewpoint, The Big Budda, Phuket Old Town, Wat Chalong Temple and Promthep Cape, it was a lovely way to see part of the island and we could spend as much or as little time as we wanted in each place.
We really enjoyed our holiday and would love to return to Thailand at some point, if you are considering Phuket would highly recommend The Nai Harn.

I'll start at the beginning) The drive from the airport takes 1.5 hours about, possibly faster if arriving at night when traffic is less.
The hotel itself is on a mountain, the descent to the beach is convenient if you live on the lower floors, there is also an elevator. The grounds are beautiful and the view is chic, in the hotel the staff tries, the service is good. Meeting at check-in takes place in the recreation area, offer cold tea carcade as a compliment.
The rooms themselves are old, but everything is clean, the view from the room is beautiful, in the evenings on the balcony you can listen to music from the bar) cleaning was always after 14/15:00 always when I put the baby to bed, in general the first time I see this in 14 years of rest, it is directly annoying. The room has bathrobes, toothbrushes, slippers that are disposable but you can see they were worn, a bag that also before us someone used🙈 There are no sunbeds on the beach, either go to the end of the beach there are paid for, from the hotel they give out chairs and then there are only 6/8 of them for the whole hotel, or lie on the sand on a towel, shower is not washed, only water pours into a bathtub where not only people wash their feet but also dogs, for the hotel 5* so bad level, for some reason I missed it, maybe already written, this could be corrected considering that the hotel is 30 years old. There are a lot of people on the beach, the beach is public, the water is clean, the entrance is small with the kids is great, the only thing in our time has been the waves sometimes, but we like that.
Meals in hotels for 4, nursery I thought a little worse exactly to taste. Prices are high, it is not clear for what, tom pit 500 Butt, carbonara or any hot mainly from 700 Butt and above, on rubles at a rate of almost 2000₽, food price does not match. nearby there is an exchanger with a hotel, market, pancakes, in general what is needed in access, 7eleven is far away, on foot already more difficult.
The hotel's prices are not up to par, the hotel itself is outdated and needs renovation, there are torn towels in the pool on sunbeds. For me, a 4* hotel is no more, it's not 5 at all.

We first visited Phuket in Dec 22/Jan 23, arriving at the Nai Harn after midnight on 28th Dec 23. Our travel mood quickly changed and we have returned for our 2nd stay at The Nai Harn this year again. First impressions are always what makes a holiday and the welcome from the check in team was warm, friendly and reassuring. Our arrival times are after midnight and a quick check-in to our adjoining Grand Ocean Deluxe Rooms offering spectacular views is seamless. The room sizes are great and perfectly suited to our family. King size bed for my husband and I, twin beds for our young adults, who LOVE this hotel. We use the beach each day with special thanks to Mr Champ and his team who set up the umbrella's & sun lounges (new this year). The Cosmo buffet breakfast offers many options for all and is really delicious, there is something for every dietary requirement. Peung is outstanding and the team are always accommodating providing excellent service. Peung has personally ensured our Rock Salt NYE bookings and special requests are delivered. We have celebrated my daughter's birthday on NYD at the Nai Harn for 2 years in a row and the hotel has generously provided a lovely cake at breakfast. The resort is very calm and serene and we feel instantly relaxed as we enter the hotel precinct. Our children are 22 and 20 and have already said they will be joining us for Dec 24/Jan 25 again. Even with the peak rates, it is a great holiday and money well spent. We have reluctantly left to explore new areas (Kamala, Surin, Katanoi) and The Nai Harn will remain our first Thai holiday love.

After a long business conference, Nai Harn was the perfect escape. After arriving early, they put me initially on a top floor moutain view room (which I had booked). I lamented that it was far from everything and with a quick 2 min call, the hostess was able to move me to a sea-view room with balcony on the ground floor! That was greatly appreciated. The pool, dining area and location next to Nai Harn Beach - which is pristine and amazing crystal clear water with some small waves and you are provided with chairs, towels, umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, kayaks and paddleboard all pro-bono - was exceptional. Going to happy hour on the roof with live music as the sun is setting over over the beach was a truly magical experience. I never say this usually - but I would definitely consider coming back here again with my family! Kudos to Nai Harn - incredible place. Dont hesitate to book this place!

What can you say about The Nai Harn, other than it is just special, really special. From the openness of the corridors on the floors, to the restaurant with no walls to the view from the pool over the most stunning beach. This is just a great hotel. Whether you are a couple celebrating something special or a family like us, celebrating high school graduation. This hotel has something for everyone. It is isolated, so if you are looking for nightlife, this is absolutely not for you. But if you are looking for relaxing days of doing nothing, other than the odd day trip to the Phi Phi Islands, The Big Buddha and a local Phuket market. This is an absolute winner. Even our teenage son, absolutely loved it. And teenagers are notoriously difficult to please. If we were ever to go back to Phuket, this would be the place of choice. Also a shout out to Mr Kay at Amani Taylor just outside The Nai Harn driveway. If you are looking for a tailor. And the welcome drink from the hotel on arrival was delicious.
Otherwise these are my other thoughts
Staff – faultless, unbelievably friendly but always professional 5/5
Room – we had a Mountain View Room, so can’t comment on the Ocean View, but it was very spacious, lovely and shady particularly on very hot days 5/5
Shower – spacious bathroom that has a sliding wall that opens up into the main room. The only fault with it was that the plug to the sink, didn’t work and had to be fixed, but very quickly. And for some reason different hotel toiletries to the ocean view, which did feel like a let down. Towels were great. 4/5
Kitchen – non
Bed – not the ultimate bed but comfortable and lovely sheets. But no turn down service at night, which was a shame 4/4
Cleanliness –5/5
Location – for us for this particular holiday, it was perfect 5/5
Facilities – loved the service around the pool (and on the beach), excellent staff, the sun beds were very comfortable, the pool was slightly terraced to suit all and not overly large. The gym was a little disappointing but then again not really that type of hotel 4/5
TV – there was one, and if you like English football you will be fine. We didn’t really use it so would be unfair to score.

We booked The Nai Harn for one week prior to heading off to another island for a week. My previous visits to Phuket had been in 1989 and 1991 & I was fully prepared to expect a much busier, more touristy Phuket on this visit. This is why we chose a hotel in Nai Harn Beach. Nai Harn is very small and certainly not full of lots of big hotels. It has a small beach with bars, restaurants and lots of massages on offer. It is friendly and safe and beautiful. The beach itself is clean and the beach butlers for The Nai Harn Hotel are always available to escort you to the beach, set up a chair, sun unbrella and towel for you. We were travelling with 2 of our children (21 and 14) and had 2 Ocean Room Suites. I think all the rooms are ocean view, but i might be wrong. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, the bathroom perfect and the balcony large with comfortable daybeds. Drinking water is repelenished frequently in your room. There was plenty of mosquito repellent provided along with the normal shampoo etc. Housekeeping did a good job, not that i ever saw them but our rooms were always clean and tidy. The breakfast was delicious. The food in Rock Salt (restaurant on the beach) and Cosmo Restaurant (same restaurant as breakfast) were both great but our favourite meal was eating at the sushi bar (called Hansha, i think) in the Roof Top Bar. Just the bestest, most freshest fish. I'm salivating just thinking about it. I'm not going to name any staff members individually because they were all fantastic and i would be worried i'd forget someone! Everyone was helpful & friendly. Thank you to you all at The Nai Harn for making our first week in Thailand so relaxing.

The hotel is very beautiful, right on the sea with spacious rooms equipped with all comforts, bathrobe, slippers and beach bag, ironing table, umbrellas, hairdryer etc., even mosquito spray. Very comfortable beds and pillows. The small terrace with bed outside the balcony offers a spectacular view. However: there are many families with often screaming and rude children, in the swimming pool (small but with hydromassage) it is difficult to find a place and you have to try to get some sunbeds before breakfast, furthermore they allow guests to play ball in a few square meters with the risk of being splashed or getting hit by a ball. In return they offer water and sometimes fresh fruit. The beach a few meters away is not private although they provide you with towels and umbrellas, they have few deckchairs and they run out quickly. I find it absurd that a 5-star hotel does not purchase around fifty deckchairs in order to satisfy all guests. The staff is very kind but it can happen that someone does something to spite you, for example I think I'm disliked by a waitress because more than once I had to wait more than half an hour for a double espresso for breakfast. There is only one elevator and sometimes you have to wait several minutes for it. Upon our arrival, a warm welcome with cocktails (good) and fruit in the room (bad) and sparkling wine recycled from the previous year because it was truly disgusting. Decent breakfast. The minibar prices are exaggerated, even if water up to 4 half-liter bottles is free.

Beautiful ambience and exquisite customer service! This was one of the best resort experiences that we have had. The hotel itself is so beautifully decorated, simply sitting anywhere in the public areas (lobby, restaurants, pool, bar) was a delightful experience. The room was very clean and beautifully set up, and the housekeeping staff did an impeccable job when they cleaned our rooms daily. Anything we needed sent to our room or taken out from our room, the staff was just a phone call away, and were very prompt with accommodating our requests. We especially appreciated the laundry service for accommodating our request to air dry our delicate pieces and how neatly our clothes were set up for us in our room when finished. The hospitality at this resort was unparalleled!
We got the opportunity to take a wonderful cooking class at the resort, which was fun, informative, and very tasty!

We used BOLT whenever we wanted transport, most taxis refused to go that low, BOLT was reliable, quick and cheap, we paid THB400 from Kata to Nai Harn and 500 from Nai Harn to Patong
Plenty of places to eat on the beach that are super cheap or borrow a bike and cycle 5 min into the village. You can also use the GRAB app and it’s delivered to the hotel for $1!!!!
There are more places to choose from in the Nai Harn area.
