This is one the better parks in Hobart area. The management were very friendly and obliging. The restaurant at the park Nates Family Restaurant was fantastic. The food was to die for and if you just want to eat in your van they also do fresh pasta and woodfired pizzas. All the food is reasonably priced for the quality of...

Stayed here for 2 nights recently as a great location to explore areas such as Richmond, port Arthur etc but still be close to Hobart. It is a very basic caravan park. I would not recommend it for families as it does not have much to offer like the big 4 parks do. Kids can't ride scooters or bikes there...

Hi there, Thank you for your review, we are always glad to hear how everyone's stay was with us. We pride ourselves in being a family friendly caravan park, We have a small playground, 19 hole mini golf course and private hire hot pool, with plenty of wildlife around the park for children to see also. Lovely park, hedges separating bays in the powered site section. Hot, 7 minute showers! We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant within the park, Nates, lovely meal and service. Handy for our visit to Sullivans Cove distillery the next morning. Friendly front desk, would stay again & recommend.

$37.8 Powered site for an RV. Facilities are nice and clean. 5 minute hot water shower but after one minute it starts again. Close to airport. Kitchen perhaps a bit small but acceptable. It also has a minigolf which can be nicer for families with kids. Would come back definitely.

Stayed for 4 nights on a powered tent site. Reasonable price, comparable with other caravan parks we've stayed in these holidays. Staff who checked us on were helpful and even accommodated us to return the gate key late evening (9pm) as we were going before office opening hours the next morning. Loved the round ensuite toilet blocks - nice to...

Hi Cathy, It is fantastic to hear you had a nice time whilst here at Barilla. We use artificial grass so during the cooler months we can still use those sites as grass ones can get quite muddy. however should you stay with us again we do have a select few grass sites so depending on the weather just ask...

Booked a cabin for 4 nights to use as base. Cabins were lovely, and despite being near airport could hardly hear any air traffic. Restaurant was amazing with delicious take away or eat in pizza (seafood one was ultra yummy) and Al a carte menu for the more classy way of dining. Definitely recommend for campers and caravans with beautiful...

We stayed at the Barilla holiday park as a last minute effort due to the flooding in Launceston. We called up only hours before hand, and Julianne (I hope that's right) booked us a powered lot for our camper van. We were shocked in the morning to wake up with the mountains on our doorstep! Not only that - Nates...
