This little family run hotel is in a perfect location for a stop off either travelling to or from the UK, via the channel tunnel or Calais ferries. The rooms are quite small but perfectly adequate for short stays. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant serves good and flavourful food from 18:30 and the prices are reasonable. Breakfast...

Outward bound touring Europe and on the road back again to ferry. Can't fault it. Excellent. Staff are lovely and the food is great, no complaints at all. The village is lovely and quaint with a lovely little taverna to while away the afternoons complete with lovely landlady.

We stayed here for 1 night en route back from UK to Austria. It was a great choice - just 20 min drive from Calais. The room was clean and a generous space. Smallish bed for 2 large people but we slept well as it was so quiet located in the French countryside. Bathroom good with a large shower. Well...

Conveniently situated for an overnight stay on the way south. Bed was small but the bathroom was great with a lovely shower and a decent hairdryer, which is always appreciated. Arrived too late for dinner but had a drink on the very pleasant terrace. Breakfast was in a lovely sunroom and we were pleased that staff were discreetly available if...

9 of us recently stopped at this hotel on our way through France to the Dordogne, and again on our way back. The staff were pleasant and proffessional and everywhere was beautifully clean. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and the food was well presented and tasty. A brilliant stop over hotel less than an hour from Calais.

Booked this as a last minute stop over before heading back home and can honestly say it was as good as the reviews said. It has recently been renovated and all rooms have been upgraded. Very clean and tidy and rooms well presented. There is also a bar/restaurant which offers good food and drink and breakfast was your typical continental...

Hotel Bal Actually a campsite with tourer pitches static caravans as well as a small modern hotel with a bar and surprisingly good restaurant. This is our second visit having found it in 2014. Living in Somerset, it is a four hour drive to the channel tunnel or Dover, so after the crossing & putting the time forward we are...
