Detailed Reviews
To set the scene, Derelict cars in the carpark, feral cats, dust, leaves and dirt blowing around.
There is a clean sports car parked in the disabled bays, (the managers?), and an old tin of tuna that has been left to feed the feral cats, doing great service feeding the local blowfly population, just outside the main entrance to the dining room. Empty beer bottles and rubbish are on most verandahs, with fly screen doors that do not do anything but slam closed.
Once inside the dining room, the food is just uniformly bad. The meat is universally very tough, the fish that was advertised as barramundi is certainly fish, it may have had scales and fins once, but it is certainly not barramundi, and the plates that you are served on are entree plates, not main meals. Even the peas tasted like plastic.
The kitchen staff are just generally interested in how quickly knock off time is approaching, or ignoring you, the client, and chatting to each other in nervous Tagalog.
The room key, touted as an electronic marvel didnt work the first time, and the office staff were just "ho hum, another one"told me to call them if it didnt work again, but didnt offer their number.
Air conditioner and fridge in the room seemed to have a respiratory disease, and coughed, chuffed and farted all night, until the air conditioner just stopped working all together.
there is a choice in Karratha, so encourage your travel person to book you elsewhere. To work a shift and come back to this is truly horrifying.

Disinterested customer service on all counts. My room smelt of cheap air freshener - could not be avoided for the first day. Deli-belly on day three of four. Colleague opened his drawers which looked like they had been urinated in. Mine were not cleaned out. Doona cover was stained. Had to work my own way to add channels to the TV. Not clear camp instructions on where everything was. Couldn't get the internet and told it could be reported - end of story. Maps so small you could not read them.

The worst reception staff I have ever meet “Download the app and do it yourself “ that’s what they told us
Dirty rooms
Food is average to rubbish
Sooner this place is demolished the better
Wish they had 1/2 a star

Dongas are an acceptable size with good water pressure but there is A LOT to be desired.
Beds are HORRENDOUS, stiff as a board and you can feel the springs with complimentary pillows that are flat as a pancake.
Food is 90% greasy rubbish, you will get fat if you stay here too long.
Crib room food if acceptable but not particularly nice.
Have had several EXTREMELY rude and unorganised staff. However most staff are quite pleasant.
STAY HERE ONLY IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE.

Uncooked rice in the bain marie at dinner, uncooked rice in rice pudding… since I was 11yrs old I could manage to cook rice and here are “professional” cooking staff struggling to get rice right.
Breakfast- not worth a look
Crib offering... nothing short of disappointment.
Dinner... hit and miss at best- some nights it is very good others... it is woeful
Rooms are good enough...
