Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The best pet friendly cabin on long trip we have been so far thanks to Barbara for fine details and thoughts to please tourists. Lovely setting, very friendly and well kept whole park sites, even main amenities fully air conditioned 👍. Picketed fence on decking with a gate is welcomed for a small puppy to be safe. Also bathroom remodeled with at most details to utilise space and storage. Most recommended for travelling with pets.

Well located park for visiting Tamworth but staying on the outskirts. We, especially our dog, liked the generous size drive through grassy site and shady tree. Clean amenities. Pleasant, helpful owner. Conveniently located next to service station-convenience store, walking distance to tavern and other service station-convenience store, and only short drive into CBD and via Calala to South Tamworth. Well priced. We'll be back.

Barb and Pete, the park owners and operators, are the friendliest couple you’ll ever meet. I stayed in a very modern, outstanding motel room style accomodation for $80 a night. The bathroom was a standout. Very spacious with clean modern ammenities. Loved the electric blanket and efficient air conditioning. Nothing was too much effort or trouble for our hosts. They even set us up with a lovely warm fire and a big screen TV to watch the footy. Highly recommended.

The cabin we had was sparkling clean and had all the amenities we needed. The pool was a perfect size and we had it to ourselves - it was only a few steps away from our patio area. Shopping and petrol stations was right around the corner. Great place for a pit stop.

We stayed at north Tamworth caravan park. We had a motel type room near the fire pit & camp kitchen. While our room was small the was everything we needed. The owners Barb & Pete we awesome and couldn’t do enough to help. They were very friendly. Highly recommend staying there any time. Bed very comfortable

We arrived and went to the cabin and from the start.. it was terrible. The cabin was old and falling apart, the kitchen doors were falling.. and the curtains were so old and falling of the rail. The worst that happened to us was the kitchen... the stove did not work, first... you had to figure out how to use the stove... it would only work if you used a timer ?.. on the stove... you could not cook on the two elements, you could only use one element at a time.. and then there was not enough heat.. to cook the food. We had the owner out twice to fix the problems. He was totally useless.. then he told us to use the camp kitchen if we wanted to cook. I told him... we paid to cook here in the cabin.. he did nothing to help use. Then there was no hot water to wash up or have a shower.. he was called back again.. and said he would change the gas bottle... We said to him... did you check these things, before we came... again that lazy stare and nothing from him to make us happy. Also, the TV was so small and old, disgusting, and in the so called lounge, no coffee table to put your coffee on, and no lamps. It was the worst stay I have ever had at a holiday camp. (The worst). In the morning... we spoke to the wife.. who was running things, and she was as rude to us as the husband. We walked out... We will never return... ever...
This holiday camp is disgusting... and for those who want a cabin... run and never look back.

We stayed in our van here for one night. It’s tough times for parks when there is no grass, swimming pool cannot be used, water restrictions, fire bans. Have your 3 minute shower and move on to somewhere with a bit of charm - maybe out of town further.

Stayed here rather than in Tamworth itself and glad we did. Yes it is a bit out of town, but an easy drive into Tamworth. Lovely warm welcome, shown the varying sites that our van could fit on so we could choose, ended up on a huge site by a tree. Amenities spotless, pool welcoming (especially in the hot weather). Was made to feel most welcomed - we would definitely recommended and will be back when next in the area.

We stayed in this caravan park as we were in a rush to stop and it was the closest park to our location. How lucky we were. It is such a friendly and quiet caravan park, I wish we could have stayed longer. It had a small bath in the ladies for my 1 yr old, the amenities are very clean and tidy, the owners were so welcoming and you're given a very spacious area to camp in. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone to stay in.

Driving into Tamworth we called and were able to book a cabin over the phone. Went straight there and were made more than welcome. Very tidy and clean park and cabin. Like the set out of cabin. Queen bed and bathroom at one end, lounge and dinning in the middle with two double bunk rooms at the other end. All with doors. Well appointed kitchenette. Good size verandah. We are traveling with our dogs and they were more than welcome.
Plenty of water pressure in shower. Very clean and modern cabin. Would definitely stay here again.
