We stayed at Rowan cottage for one night during walking the Skye trail. Christine was so kind to us, she cooked really tasty food, she helped us to find a ride, assisted to dry our clothes and was generally very lovely. The house is very comfy, clean and welcoming

We spent 3 wonderful days as sole guests of Trish and Renee at the Rowan Cottage. The suite is professionally designed for the ultimate warm, homely and comfortable stay. The beautiful garden and peaceful quiet were amazing. And Trish and Renee's hospitality and helpfulness were outstanding.

I think you may have listed your review for the wrong B&B - can you please remove so as not to confuse any of my future guests as my name as the owner of Rowan Cottage in Glasnakille is neither Trish nor Renee, but good to know you enjoyed your visit at another venue

Our hosts Christine & Jim gave us a great welcome in their very comfortable home. Lovely room, fab breakfast, gorgeous setting. We were only there for one night but it would have been lovely to stay longer!

Christine and Jim were so kind to us after a long wet day of walking through Skye, they dried out clothes and provided a wonderful breakfast, they were super helpful and came and rescued us from the nearby town we had ended up in after rain forcing us to take another route. The b&b is wonderful and homely and in...

What a brilliant find and the perfect B&B. A really enjoyable stay from start to finish, beginning with Christine and Jim's warm welcome and all the way through to our reluctant departure. The food is home cooking as good as you'll find (the previous comments about the fish pie and venison casserole were spot on), with superb breakfasts as well,...

6 of us (2 couples, 1 daughter and granddad) had a 2 night stay, where we were welcomed and looked after. Great breakfast served up each morning. A wonderful location, in a remote corner of Skye. A traditional house with character, not a new-build.

From the very moment I booked, I had such a delightful experience. Christine emailed me straight away to welcome me and provide details of the location and amenities (as well as checking I knew that they were remotely situated). The drive out to Rowan Cottage was beautiful and the views from the cottage itself just breathtaking! My room was fantastic...

A very special B&B in a special part of the Isle of Skye. The road from Broadford to Elgol and on to Glasnakille (where Rowan Cottage is located) is spectacular.
