One night only!! Had a drink in the Hotel before going and setting up for the night, otherwise would have kept going. Ladies Toilets in the Hotel smelt of sanitary pads, curtains on the way out of the hotel were fraided half way up the window. Driving around to the powered site a german shepherd was locked in one of the rooms attacking the window. We were told the amenities block was closed due to maintenance, and that 3 motel rooms were open for everyones use. After setting up, went to have a look, I refused to use the showers they were disgusting, waited till we got to Coober Pedy next stop. the outdoor thatched areas would have been nice in their day, the sinks were full of rubbish. Leaving the next day after a massive wind storm that night, we drove past the ammenities block, no maintenance it had been shut for some time, going on the grass and rubbish around not to mention what we took to be the sewerage tank. This would be the ideal place for a horror movie maybe a follow up to Wolf Creek!…

Horrible motel rooms. We booked a room one week in advance. First room had not been swept or cleaned so we asked for another. In the second room the bed was not made from previous night, there were wet towels lying around and leftover food on table and in bin, so we asked for another. The third room was the same as the first plus the toilet was almost completely blocked. Had no choice but to make the best of this room at $130 a night because we were a long way from alternatives. No apologies from staff and no responsibility shown. Unbelievably bad. Have never had a motel experience like this before. Avoid this place at all costs. John Spencer, Adelaide. 0438800703

We arrived for a 1 night stop over. We booked a motel room, it was clean, bed super comfy and hot water A plenty. Basic room but ok for a night. We checked in with lovely staff greeting us. We drank and ate at the pub. It was great. Would highly recommend for a stop over. The surrounds need some love but I’m sure if people got back there and supported these places things could get done. We definitely be back again. Thanks for a great night.

You might as well free camp for $30 a night your on dirt Amenities were absolutely filthy the floor was covered in mud in the showers and the toilets were lacking paper We didn’t bother to shower as you would end up dirtier than when you went in I understand issues with staff in the out back But to charge for such utter filth is beyond me

We booked a standard room .. trouble with plumbing so we were given a budget room. Disgusting .. dirty and dilapidated. I would strongly advise driving past Glendambo straight to Cooper Pedy for any travelers considering this place to stay.

This is as low as you can go, what a dump, no kitchenware, cups, spoons, nothing, no tv, it should be burned down not rented out at ridiculous prices. Worth $50 at best. Looking forward to a civilized motel in Cooper Pedy.

The drive through caravan park sites were good, with good shade. Unfortunately the amenities block flooded in both male and female sections, due to the amount of people staying the night we were there. The meal at the pub was as you would expect from a isolated roadhouse, plentiful and tasty, beers were cold and a good variety as well as wines

It's not the Hilton, and doesn't pretend to be. It is however, a terrific country pub, with very good meals. Being in the middle of nowhere, = No Internet. No big deal. The cabins have good clean rooms, and free parking at your door. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a very pleasant break of journey.
