Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
Stunning scenery in a quiet working cattle farm environment. We camped in the Fig Tree section of the Forest Camp, facilities were close by and well maintained. The sites are large and well spaced. The location wasn’t overcrowded like others in the area would be in the lead up to Easter. Wendy and family are very friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Loved it!

Beautiful camping spot, suitable for tents, campers and caravans. You are welcomed by the lovely hosts and given directions to your site. Heaps of sites spread over the property. Once you book a site, you get the whole site ... heaps of room. Each site has a fire pit and you can use a shower tent if the water is directed away from the creek. Most sites have good caravan access and all have a flat spot to set up. Three sets of flushing toilets spread around the camping areas. Very well maintained grassy areas. Camp in the valleys, near a creek or on a hill. Lots of birds and wildlife, walking and push bike tracks. If you want quite (no service) bush camping with a fire, within 30-40 drive of Stanthorpe, Tenterfield, Killarney and the waterfalls around Queen Mary Falls - this is the spot for you.

This is no doubt a lovely place to stay, Our group loved the open space and being away from other campers. Plenty of wildlife visitors which our kids loved and the birdlife is beautiful. The toilets and showers are great and kept well maintained and very clean and Wendy and Stuart were kind enough to open up their little function set up for our group to use in case the wet weather got to much. Took a drive to Undercliffe falls which was amazing and in to Stanthorpe. However there were a few hidden surprises that we weren't aware of before coming. On arrival we were told no music after dark, even playing from a phone by the fire. No fishing and when we arrived we were told that the kids could use kayaks in the dam and swim and we could explore the property but then we got told later that we weren't allowed in certain places (no signs to say no entry) and that the kids couldn't use the kayaks or swim. Found their website mis leading in terms of these things. If these things had a of been made clear on the website/hipcamp we probably would have chosen somewhere else. Aside from these things we had an enjoyable weekend.

Only a short scenic trip from Brisbane you'll find Cullendore easily with their clear and simple instructions. Wendy greeted us and made sure we had plenty of firewood. The entire property is meticulously kept. The camp-grounds are clean and private with great access for 2WD vehicles. The ground is decomposed granite and has excellent drainage. They've gone to great trouble to keep lovely big gum trees for shade and protection. The toilets and showers like the grounds are immaculately kept. There is a look out that is accessible with all wheel drive vehicles and a number of good non motorised trail bike tracks.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the start of 2021 - this is hands down the best camp site I have been too (I have been to many internationally!). Spacious and private sites, well looked after expansive scenic grounds, quiet, walking tracks, biking trails, kayaking options, clean amenities, incredible open roof shower, huge mowed fields for games, 4x4 driving tracks to view to property, friendly owners, Stanthorpe, Warwick and national parks a day trip away - what more could you ask for? Certainly will be returning. Note the border crossing back into Qld not an issue as such few vehicles in this area (Jan 2021)

What a fabulous campsite! Wendy was so helpful and welcoming from the outset. All the sites were secluded and quiet, plenty of options depending on group size and camping preference (views, water etc). Fabulous 4WD and mountain bike trails all over the property, you could spend a few days just exploring the surroundings. Clean amenities - the outdoor shower was a bonus! Can't recommend this place enough. We will be back!

We are very seasoned campers and are always on the lookout for somewhere different. This was a top spot. You can spread out of you want or be with others. Great spot for groups also. Our spot was called Wood Duck.
Stewart and Wendy are excellent hosts. The toilets were clean and the out door shower a point of difference.
Our boys loved the mountain bike tracks. The tracks being better than what we expected.
Highly recommend.

Great place to stay for people who dont like being crowded in at other spots, the owners have done a great job in making the camp sites extra large so there is plenty of room to spread out! Hot showers are available plus ice and firewood, from the office. The owners are friendly and helpful and from cullendore you can explore the local national parks on day trips. A local treat is the lavander farm to try the Scones and chocolate treats with a large gift shop.we will be back!

We definitely keep coming back to Cullendore high country for a reason! Stewart and Wendy are delightful owners, and extremely helpful. Campsites are flat and well thought out. And extremely spacious away from other sites to ensure privacy. Showers and flushing toilets are perfect, especially for bush camping! Very clean too. The 5 (i think) camp areas are all so beautiful and you will definitely find a spot that suits you the best. Access for all cars, caravans and campers. Heaps and wildlife and firepits at each campsite. Prices are very acceptable too especially when your surrounded by beautiful scenery. Depending on where you camp, toilets/showers are just a short drive (or walk) can't wait to come back again this year very soon!
