We ended up checking out a day early. The hotel is dated, and long overdue a renovation. The room had an odd smell, and the bathroom wasn't particularly clean. Staff were OK, but we had to ask for towels to be provided.

Stayed here 2 nights with my mom and sister. The hotel is runned by a lovely couple. The hotel is located right next to surin beach, which is a lovely beach and not too crowded! Also walking distance from laem singh beach which has the most amazing water ever! Youll have to pay a fee of 100 baht to get...

The surin sunset in is a small low cost inn 200 meters from Surin beach. It is an amazing location, one of the nicest beaches in Phuket with a small number of local in international restaurants, as well as the catch club for sundowners just down the road and just $50 dollars a night for an air conditioned room. Friendly...

Upon entering the establishment i was greeted warmly, Shown to my room and left to my own devices. I enjoyed the unusual concept of the dirty socks left in the coupboard(assumed it was a local custom) Also the 3 used soap pucks left in the bathroom were a surprise as ive not seen that before. Anyway.. The locking mechanism for...

We had an amazing anniversary weekend while staying at the Surin! The hotel employees were very, very friendly and whenever we needed anything, they were at our door within minutes. We booked an oceanfront suite which was very romantic, with the beach (and then the ocean) just a few feet away. The only "negative" about our suite was that there...

I stayed in Surin Sunset Inn in December 2010. The hotel is located in a very good place. Not very far to the beach. If someone prefer local busses (as me), the busses stopped near hotel. The owners of the hotel are also owners restaurant where you can eat fantastic dishes made of fresh and very tasty product. The restaurant...

This is a basic but solid 3 star hotel not far from Surin Beach but the best thing about it would have to be the wonderland Thai couple that runs the place. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, from renting a motor bike from their own garage (in the courtyard..ha) or getting a lift to the airport for...

“Top floors have best ocean view.”

“One might prefer an ocean view room closer to the main hotel. Most face the ocean and many are close to the pool. I don't believe there is any "bad" room in the place, however, but I'm not sure the ocean front was worth the extra cost.”
