I stayed at the Aire Valley Guest House as part of a self-guided trek along the Great Ocean Walk arranged by a tour operator. This was my home for 2 nights and proved to be a very special place to be during my time in the Cape Otway National Park. The Guest House dates back to the early 1900's and... More

Susie is a beautiful host - a wonderful cook, a great conversationalist and she makes sure everyone feels welcome and cared for. The room was delightful with good quality bedding, fresh flowers and lovely views. The food was amazing - I loved the... More

This guest house was booked by our tour operator, as we were walking the Great Ocean Road walk. The corner room was very cosy, amenities were ideal. The highlight of our stay was the hospitality - the owner was away that night but had left the house in the care of a trusted friend, together with an excellent chef. We... More

We recently stayed one night as part of our Walk91 hike of the Great Ocean Road. We arrived tired and worn out after a long day of walking so it was great to arrive and enjoy a lovely hot shower and then a relax near the open fire. Susie was a fantastic host, very friendly and the dinner we had... More

Great getting to meet Susie, who runs an amazing farm with tons of vege, herbs and fruit ...which end up on the dining table. Gorgeous food (incredible lemon tart) and lovely home. Curling up next to the fireplace after dinner with homemade tea in my hand was a bonus.

Stayed two nights as part of Walk91 hike of the Great Ocean Walk. Susie was amazing--her cooking using ingredients from her garden was amazingly tasty and fresh and healthful and wonderful. The rooms were beyond comfortable, with fresh flowers, wonderful antique furnishings, amazing views of the Aire River valley. Sitting/lounging on the super-comfortable sofas in front of a fire, letting... More

On driving the GOR we stopped over at Susi's for 2 nights in January. Absolutely first class without all the glitzy hotel type trimmings. Superb food....wonderful company....and a location to die for! Susi.....don't forget to contact us next year if you decide to visit the UK.....it would be great to see you and show off our 'back garden' in Shropshire.... More

We stayed for one night on a trip along the Great Ocean Road. Visiting this Guest House is like staying with friends - it was wonderfully low key. We were well looked after, fed and watered.
