Our first trip to Mallorca and arriving 02:30am (thanks Ryanair!) as 2 adults and 2 children under age 13. I was anxious about what to expect, especially having experienced severe delays by our airline, but the hotel staff were amazing, providing a seamless and quick check-in so we could sleep as soon as we arrived.

The 2-room suite was pristine, very modern, with everything we needed and excellently controlled air conditioning. Beds were incredibly comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised to find slippers and robes available.

We thought the decor and style of the rooms and communal areas were stunning. I adored the gardens which are thoughtfully designed with beautiful planting to give a tranquil and tropical environment.

The pool areas are superb, its nice to have the variety of different pool shapes and depths. Lots of areas for the kids to explore without being too big or losing each other. The kids pool area in particular was very popular.
Even for August we did not feel overwhelmed by crowds, plenty of space and sun loungers for everyone.

Dining restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellently managed, good selection and choice of quality foods to suit all tastes and lots of available seating. You have to reserve tables if you want to use the stylish outdoor dining area.

The staff all work really hard and are pleasant, friendly and helpful - you can tell their service provided really matters to everyone who works there.

The location is perfect - from Palm it's 45 min direct at the end of the motorway, just a few minutes walk across the road to the beach and the surrounding restaurants, bars and shops. The beach is excellent, although very busy - water was so clear and warm and the whole area looked pristine (no litter, smells, etc).

Parking is on-street behind the hotel, with no problem finding a space.

We were really impressed by this hotel, we highly recommend it, and we'd love to return in future.

Really great hotel. Stayed for 7 nights half board plus. Two adults and a 16 and 12 year old. Fantastic value for money with the rate I paid in a flash sale.

Breakfast and dinner in the buffet is plentiful and varied. As with all hotel buffets, some items are a bit ‘hit and miss’ but there is always something nice to be found. The buffet can get quite busy but the staff do an excellent job of refreshing tables and keeping the restaurant tidy. The Grill and Picco restaurants (included with half board plus) are both excellent, although service was a bit slow in the Grill one night that we went, but it was full and busy so to be expected and didn’t have a negative impact on our evening. The food at Salt and Co restaurant open for lunch looked very nice (we didn’t eat there, just went for drinks each day). The snacks available at the prinstruck are excellent quality and good value for money.

The Moana bar is very pleasant and relaxing, with some decent varied entertainment each evening which we enjoyed.

Our room was a two bedroom suite with balcony and was faultless - modern, clean and very well appointed.

The pools and grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. People do get down to the pool early to reserve Sunbeds, but it really isn’t a problem. Sunbeds are plentiful and we were always able to find a nice spot no matter what time we arrived at the pool. If there are no Sunbeds with parasols left then you can just find some spare Sunbeds and go on the grass under the trees for shade.

Great animation team with lots of fun activities to get involved with if that’s your thing, but none of it too pushy or forced.

Staff throughout the hotel are excellent and very professional and helpful.

One minor negative of our stay was that we were told at check it that the Grill and Picco restaurants needed to be booked through the app. We booked for a night at each but then there was no other availability on the app for the rest of our stay. We went to reception to query this and were told that the system had just been changed and that we now needed to book at reception. Had we not questioned the availability on the app then we may have wrongly assumed that there was no availability in the restaurants when in fact there was. As it happened we were then able to eat at the Grill and Picco when we wanted for the rest of our stay, so it was not an issue - just that communication could have been a bit better here.

Overall we had a fantastic stay and were more than happy with our choice. We’ll definitely be returning

Amazing hotel, we enjoyed every second of our stay and would highly recommend.
Some of the highlights include; warm welcome with champagne and orange juice for kids, spotlessly clean suit, most comfortable beds & pillows, fabulous hot tub, stocked mini fridge, daily delivery of water to our room, gorgeous kids pool, delicious bar food & cocktails, perfect location, great kids entertainment, luxurious spa, beautiful gardens, friendly helpful staff, smart TVs in both bedrooms with You tube to keep the kids happy. 5 star experience. No loud kids, could easily be enjoyed by couples and families alike. The only minor complaint is that the Balinese beds beside the pool were being reserved by people putting their towels down early in the morning, this is not allowed by hotel, but the rule is not enforced by hotel staff.

Nice hotel with beautiful grounds. Bedrooms are spacious, modern and clean.
We were disappointed to find out that the buffet breakfast and dinner were served inside in a relatively dark room with no option to dine outside unless you were a premium guest.
Would highly recommend upgrading to half board plus to enjoy the Grill Restaurant and Picco as they were so much better than the buffet and they had the option to dine outside.
If travelling with a baby would also recommend taking a car seat. The hotel does not have any and had no solutions on how to travel around to local areas with a baby which was a shame given they are family friendly hotel.

Spent a week with our 2 sons age 10 & 14 in July. On arrival, no-one to help with bags and a frosty greeting. Various signs around the pool saying not to leave towels to reserve sun loungers. Not seen a sign like this at any hotels we've ever stayed at before which had us somewhat concerned. The next morning we could see why these signs were up. People selfishly reserving sun loungers before breakfast and no-one at any point during our stay removing them. We headed to the lovely little beach most days which was a few minutes walk away and would recommend. Beautiful sand, never too busy and the sea a perfect temperature. It would have been nice to enjoy the pool we had paid for but it was over crowded every day and generally a loud, splashy experience in a tired pool needing some updating. Not our vibe or what should have been on offer at this star rating level.
We booked a 2 bedroom suite. Clean and pleasant however, there were down points: the rooms were not at all soundproofed, you will hear every scrape of a chair, door closing, voices past your door etc. The safe was in a wardrobe in the children's twin bedroom which meant waking them to access it a couple of times. You would think that should be in the main double bedroom wardrobe. The main double bedroom wardrobe was so small you couldn't hang a dress or trouser full length. Whilst we like a firm mattress, the mattresses at this hotel were so hard I had to resort to sleeping on the sofa.
Food across the board was very average. The main restaurant at the rear by the desert area had an awful sewage smell for the full week we were there. Mentioned it to staff a couple of times (you could not ignore this smell) but nothing done. Slow poor service in the restaurant and the pool bar - where staff didn't appear to know the hotels own menu.

Service at reception was always frosty with a 'couldn't really care' approach. We wanted to book a taxi to the caves which was a shorter distance from the hotel than the airport. Lady at reception told me to wait for 30 minutes whilst she found out if one was available. She then advised me that it would be more expensive than a taxi to the airport. I pointed out to her the distance and she just said it was actually further and there was a festival going on meaning traffic and a longer route. I did not book this taxi through the hotel. I phoned a local taxi company myself and got a price half the cost with confirmation that there was no traffic or festival that would effect the journey. We happened to walk past the car hire place on the corner by the hotel and actually hired a car in the end. 30 euros for the day compared to the 130 euros the hotel quoted.

To conclude: this hotel just was not the standard in accommodation, catering, amenities or service that we expect and have always found at this price point. Won't be back or recommending. Buyer beware if you have standards and are well travelled, this won't be the hotel for you.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Warm welcome by reception staff.

Our room with its own pool was just perfect and cleaned daily, Housekeeping staff always a smile on their face and a greeting, rooms cleaned daily, very friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much.

Food was fantastic, themed nights but still lots of choice if you did not like seafood night or Mexican as an example. Restaurant staff goes well beyond the call of duty. Marcos, our waiter on the terrace is a gem, the chefs can’t do enough to please their customers, you ask, they deliver!

I would highly recommend this gem, upmarket, stylish, impressive gardens, surroundings and pools, indoor pool and jacuzzi just lovely to relax in.

We shall certainly be back. Thank you for looking after us so incredibly well.

• The hotel was lovely, beautiful well maintained gardens and all areas clean and well kept. We had a family room which had a small basic kitchenette, good sized balcony, bedroom, bathroom with separate bath and shower as well as a bidet.
• There are a few pools of varying depths including a splash pool with bouncy pillow - no shortage of sunbeds. There are 2 outdoor pool tables and 2 table tennis tables, 3 hole mini golf and giant chess, a well as well stocked shop.
• Cleaners made beds, changed towels and cleaned floors daily.
• The reception staff were always friendly and helpful.
We had an issue on the last day where our air con leaked and flooded the floor. The Handy man appeared within 2 minutes of reporting the problem, fixed the aircon and requested the cleaners to come and clean up and bring us fresh towels (we'd used our pool towels to mop up). It would have been nice for someone to check afterwards that everything was OK and that nothing had been damaged but otherwise we were impressed at the speed and efficiency of the staff - especially the handy man.
• We couldn't comment on the entertainment as we went out in the evenings but we heard a procession of children on their way to the mini disco and there were often invitations for the children to join in activities during the day (no idea whether there was other entertainment in the evening)
• The hotel is a short walk to the beach (well maintained council sunbeds are available at a charge but get there before 9am as they fill up quickly), and close to shops and restaurants. We found the bus to town or the marina quicker, cheaper and just as easy as ordering a taxi.

● Make sure to take plenty of mozzie spray - there was marshland behind the hotel so there were loads of them and they took any opportunity to get us if we forgot to put spray on.

Just come back from a week's stay at the prinsotel. It's one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and would definitely recommend. We stayed self catering in an apartment and it had everything you needed. Bonus in the bathroom was a walk in shower and a shower over the bath which made things much quicker with two kids!

The hotel is a great location just off the main road so it's quieter, but close enough to shops and restaurants. I would recommend a walk at the parc natural few hundred yards down the road and there is a bus stop near the hotel so you can easily jump on to go to the Port, Old Town, bigger ersoki supermarket etc.

The animation team were fantastic if you have little ones and they also did a few things for teenage age children too. We paid extra to eat in the buffet restaurant twice which I would recommend trying, they gave us a discount on our first meal there too. The salt and Co pool bar was lovely and good snacks on the food truck. Beach is two minutes away. If you go to the beach at sunset and turn right you can walk down to a promenade and watch the sunset behind the mountains. Lots of locals there fishing.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, pools fantastic and room was cleaned everyday. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Beneath criticism!

We booked this hotel for week 27 because of their many facilities which we had seen on the website. What we chose was to get a two-bedroom apartment and the option to eat outside in the various areas.

On arrival we were given a one-room apartment. We pointed out that we had specifically ordered and paid for a two-room apartment. They could see in our booking that we had booked a two-room apartment. However, they told us that for an extra 4000 we could upgrade to a two bedroom apartment, which we didn't want as we had already paid for it.

We couldn't get what we ordered until the next day and they told us we were lucky we got what we ordered at all.

We had also booked with breakfast, but the whole hotel was divided according to whether or not you were a club member. If you were a club member, you had access to e.g. eating breakfast outside, but the facilities on which we had chosen this hotel were not included in our "package". We asked them how to become a club member and were told that it was only possible if we upgraded to a suite.

When we booked the hotel, we paid 7000 more than comparable hotels, as we wanted a two-room apartment as well as the possibility to eat in peace outside.

The hotel was big and the breakfast was good, but it was a big mess. People stood in line to get in and eat breakfast as there were different stations. For example, you waited in line for 15 minutes to get coffee.

We chose this hotel because it had to offer something extra, but the extra was only there if you wanted to upgrade.

When we had to fly home at 20, we asked if we could buy a late check-out. We could only get an answer to this on the day of departure. On the day of departure we were told that this was not possible. While we were sitting at the reception waiting for departure, many new Danes checked in. Once again they were given the same explanation that the hotel was overbooked and that they could upgrade if they wanted to get what they had ordered. It seemed like it was standard business practice for them.

When we were leaving we asked if they would order a taxi for us, to which they told us it would cost 100 euros to be driven to the airport. We were surprised as we had only paid 70 euros for the trip from the airport, but they claimed it was a fee when ordering the taxi.

We travel to Spain 3-4 times a year and we have never felt so cheated before. They put families with children in a bind where they feel compelled to upgrade.

We paid 15,000 kroner for a week's stay at this hotel, but with the facilities available, I think we could have found a better hotel with better service for half the price

I wanted to wait to put this review when we finished our stay at the Hotel, but I think it is worth putting it now. I don’t usually post reviews, because for those of us who are dedicated to the user experience, whatever the type, it’s hard to be surprised, and this hotel and its staff have done it.
The reception was fabulous, answering all our questions about places to visit. The rooms are fantastic, spacious shower and bathtub, great living room, everything very clean and cared for, something that is appreciated, as sometimes hotels do not take care of maintenance and it is a shame. Quality materials in the room and modern.
The gardens are beautiful, variety of flowers and trees, all very well maintained, good maintenance is noticeable, it is nice to walk around the hotel.
The Top-rated buffet surprises the quality of the products, since in these types of hotels they usually put a lot of variety and little quality, but it is not their case, variety and quality alike. You have to highlight the variety of food prepared at the moment, without generating queues and well cooked, that is difficult to get. Highlight that coffee is made at the time and coffee maker, something that for those of us who are good coffee is very important, since in other hotels that there are machines I have to have breakfast and then go to the cafeteria for coffee.
The service of catering tables is impeccable, fully coordinated to have tables available, collected, clean, with cutlery, attentive to anything you may need, really, without words...
Special mention for this team, not a single day they have stopped greeting us with a smile and greeting our son fondly, it is nice to see people work effectively and joyfully, totally focused on the satisfaction of the guest.
Please convey our congratulations to Marco Antonio for being in EVERYTHING, always with a smile, our little one takes a friend from Mallorca and a photo. Thanks, you multiply the experience and that's priceless.
Congratulations to the hotel management, I sincerely hope you get this review, because rarely do the WOW effect to us.
Definitely a place we will recommend, and to which we hope to return.
