We were at the hotel for 5 nights and booked the Royal Terrace room/Club Selection. We had such a wonderful holiday at the hotel. There are so many positives and benefits, too may to mention. But a few that we enjoyed, as we were Club select:
-Stocked mini bar on arrival, including still and sparkling water bottles replenished daily.
-Hot tub on the roof terrace, great view and tanning bed/seating area.
-Buffet breakfast daily with a great selection-including juices, smoothies, tea, coffee, waters and more.
-Room cleaning everyday, fresh towels & robes/slippers.
-Use of the heated spa pool downstairs, which was fantastic, especially for kids.
-Nespresso coffee pods/machine, replenished daily.
-Baby cot and bedding.
*I would highly recommend upgrading to Club Selection*
Besides this service, other positives to mention:
-Amazingly friendly, kind, Professional staff nothing is too much trouble. Great environment for kids.David at the kids club is SO good with Children. My daughter still speaks of him.
-The hotel is ALWAYS clean, especially the dinning area. The service is the best we have ever experienced.
-Great selection at the Breakfast and Evening buffet and totally worth it to upgrade to include meals. The food was always fresh. Few soft drink and booze options included too.
-Evening entertainment for adults and children- really great. The kids club is also excellent and lots to do for children.
-Pools are kept immaculately clean and hotel is constantly being up-kept.
-The Royal Terrace room is spacious, light, airy, heating available in rooms if needed, bed and pillows super comfortable. We LOVED the shower and bathroom in general.
The only negatives i could really mention is that the Hot Tub in the Royal Terrace could be warmer, but is still warm enough to enjoy in the cooler months.
The breakfast service could be extended for the late sleepers.
But this would not deter us from returning :)

We were lucky to stay at this hotel from July through to August 2020. 2 adults and 2 children (8yrs & 4yrs). A beautiful hotel set within beautifully kept grounds. Every member of staff from the efficient site technicians (handy men), the never resting room cleaners, reception, shop ladies, the massivley hardworking bar and restaurant staff to the brilliant Animation team. All worked tirelessly in the heat with face masks and covid precautions to ensure every guest had an amazing holiday. The hotel has everything you need for a family.. baby pool, big toddler depth pool, older kids depth pool, seperate splash zone and adults only chill out pool in a secluded part of the site as well as an athletes seperate training pool. A gym, a spa retreat, indoor sports bar with all sports shown. Dart boards, pool tables, kids gaming zone with xbox, playstation and nintendo! A seperate kids clubhouse with daily activities and lots of different daytime pool games hosted by the animation team and daily mini disco each eve. A two week rolling nighttime entertainment rota on the outdoor stage with table service to keep your drinks topped up by the brilliant waiting team. A shaded kids park with rubber flooring. Fenced football/basketball cage. Literally everything a family needs for a memorable holiday. The hotel itself is located about 2 minute walk to the golden sands and crystal waters of playa de muro beach, plenty of mini supermarkets, clothes shops etc within 2 or 3 minutes walk too. Hotel staff and life guards constantly cleaning/sanitising to keep the place spotless. Breakfast has everything and is buffet style. Lunch at the shaded pool restaurant is table service and a choice of a la carte evening terrace restaurant or a seperate buffet style restaurant with themed nights and huge choice of meats, fresh fish, veg rice and pasta dishes along with kids favourites and gluten free sections. Rooms cleaned and linen/towel changes daily. Garden rooms with hammocks, jaccuzzis, four poster garden beds. Rooftop terrace rooms, private pool rooms or just standard/premium balcony rooms. Options for all tastes and budgets. Fabio, Mario, Emily, Evy, Anna and Maria, are an awesome animation team.. Pacqui, Juan, Tony, Veronika and all the young guys and gals from the bar/restaurant teams all deserve mentions. Book your holiday at Viva Blue, you will not regret it.

I have been going abroad for over 30 years to Spanish hotels, I find them very hit and miss, but this hotel is the biggest hit for sure!
When we arrived the receptionist quickly put our all inclusive wrist bands on so we could get some food as just 3 minutes until evening meal finished, and even with minutes to spare the food selection was excellent. We are a family of Veggies and Vegans and we were never disappointed.
The room was amazing, we had a room with a roof top area and Jacuzzi, loads of USB points around room, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, microwave etc, not that we used any of those! 2 sinks in the HUGE bathroom, with an amazing shower. Double bed was massive and the 2 single beds were fine for our kids (10 and 15).
We over looked the lake/nature reserve part which looked stunning at night with the lights opposite.
So back to the food and drink, i have never been to a hotel where nearly every drink was included in the all includive. We were having cocktails (including amazing non alcoholic ones), smoothies, milk shakes, wine, sangria, beer, slushies and more! None of the awful Orange Juice you get at most hotels, this tasted like it had been bought from a supermarket. Breakfast is as you would expect, with freshly prepared omelettes and fried eggs, but a monsterous selection of dishes for various nationalities. Lunch is my fave, it was at the pool bar with full freshly cooked menu and waiter service. This was better than most meals I have at pubs etc in the UK, and we almost felt weird eating such good meals! The Vegan burger was amazing, no cheap rubbish. Evening meal was a huge buffet, usually a themed night with a kids section, and always pizza, chips, salad for the fussy ones. Loads of pasta and various sauces too.
Evening Entertainment was good, always something to watch and a quiz one night.
Day time the animation team were excellent, always had time to chat and involve you in things (if you wanted to be involved). Me and my son Spencer did loads of activities including water polo, football, basketball and

Prior to travelling, I was concerned about covid but the hotel couldn’t have been more accommodating. They took all safety precautions - sanitised our rooms and we felt safe whilst we were there.
This hotel was perfect for our needs. A family of 4 with a 3 year old and a baby. We paid for all inclusive and I’m so glad we did. I’m a vegan and at breakfast, they had every type of milk you’d ever want. The options on the a la carte lunch menu were really good. At dinner, the vegan options were clearly labelled and they even had vegan desserts. if I had any queries, the chef was more than happy to come out and point out all of the options suitable for me (some items on the themed night were suitable but just not labelled eg certain sushi’s and pasta etc). They were also happy, if possible, to make vegetarian items vegan.
The chef even offered to cook separate food for my fussy toddler and purées/ finger foods for my baby.
My toddler absolutely loved it here and didn’t want to leave! She loved the bouncy castle, playground and children’s splash pool. She also looked forward to the many activities the hotel planned for children (painting T-shirt’s, making bracelets, creative activities, pony riding etc). She looked forward to the mini disco every night.
The hotel itself is very close to the beach and the room has a bedroom, separate living area and a small kitchenette.
The mosquitoes, as per previous reviews were a problem but as we’d read them beforehand, we prepared and took bite cream etc with us and made sure the doors weren’t open too long.
On the whole this was one amazing hotel. Having never been all inclusive before, What an introduction! We will definitely be back.

We stayed at the viva hotel blue and spa for 7 nights at the start of the summer holidays and it was our first family holiday with a 5 and 3 year old. We stayed on a self catering basis (although we ate at the restaurants everyday at some point) in a one bedroom apartment which had a sofa bed and the room was very clean and very spacious!
The pools in the hotel were also fabulous with lots of shallow areas for small children to play in as well as a special splash pool with a slide and other games for the kids. There was also a pool with an inflatable course as well as an adults only relax pool for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle. Kids club and entertainment were great and again the staff were so friendly and very approachable. There was also a spa located downstairs from the main reception. This had an indoor pool, hot and cold dunk pools, steam room, sauna, outdoor jacuzzi and sun lounges. Families could use this until 4pm and thereafter it was adults only. We visited once with the kids who loved the fact we were the only people there! Treatments were available although we didn't try them.
The food in all the restaurants: buffet, al a carte and the pool bar were also brilliant with lots of options for everyone in the family. The service was second to none and everyone was so helpful and welcoming.
The hotel was immaculate and beautiful inside with a shop on sight for everything you needed. We were also able to hire a buggy as and when we needed to save our 3 year old walking and getting too hot and tired.
The hotel was located in an easy walking distance to the local beach and local shops with more amenities. Also a great ice cream place was just a stones throw away!
We travelled with Jet2 and had a transfer to and from the hotel which was easy locate and again friendly staff to help you out.
Overall a brilliant experience for our first family holiday and a resort and hotel we will definitely be visiting again!

We stayed at the Viva Blue for 10 nights we found our one bedroom apartment very spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Our air conditioning failed a couple of times during our stay but when we reported it an engineer came quickly and sorted it out thankfully as it was very difficult to sleep without it.
The food in the hotel was excellent with a great range of choice in the buffet restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner and The poolside bar where we often had lunch it was a great touch having table service there. There was lots of fresh fruit available all day long , great drinks and the icecream parlour was a huge hit, all of this was included in our All inclusive.
My son is 8 and had the best holiday, the Wibit inflatable was a big hit where a lot of kids congregated, and the nightly football after dinner was great for him to meet friends and have fun while we had the opportunity to relax and know he was happy and safe. There were lots of activities in the day time for kids my son loved the water mat. The entertainment is advertised in various areas around the hotel it’s good to keep an eye on times for these as the entertainment team don’t go around asking. The team are very friendly and inclusive and the kids had great fun with them from morning through to about 9/10pm. The hotel had a lovely spa area I didn’t use it but my son loved it, there are specific times when only adults can use it for those looking a more relaxing experience.
The beach is nearby 5-10 minute walk, it is beautiful and very busy with lots of activities on offer if you want them, There were a lot of shops and restaurants close by although I felt the area was very hotel based and lacked a promenade or somewhere nice to just sit and people watch so perhaps it is an area better suited to families.
Overall I had a wonderful stay in the hotel and we wouldn’t hesitate to return the staff were ALL really lovely , friendly and helpful and provided a very high standard of service. I can’t remember all the names but from check in we had a lovely young guy who made us very welcome this theme continued with all staff from cleaners, maintenance staff, waitresses, chefs in the kitchen they all had name badges, big smiles on their faces and made the effort to say hello. Big shout out to Justin who made the breakfast omelettes such a lovely man, always smiling and his omelettes were fantastic. The waiting staff were very professional, I feel bad that I can’t remember all the names but Angel was very nice and there was alovely waitress who had some blue bits in her hair I can’t remember her name but she also deserves a mention.
Thank you for a great holiday

We recently spent a week here and it was incredibly beautiful. The resort staff are amazing, hard to single out one over the other, but the restaurant staff were just fantastic. We stayed in a royal terrace with the rooftop jacuzzi. The room was perfect for us (two adults and two kids 11 & 13). Kids slept on the fold out sofa which converts to two single beds. Our king bed was one of the best hotel beds I’ve slept in!
The resort itself is in a great location, so close to beach, bike hire and bus stop. We even hired a car directly through the hotel who made that super easy with a great rate. The reception team were also awesome at helping us solve our airport transfer issue.
The Jacuzzi as part of the terrace apartment was a big bonus. We had it serviced a couple of times because it was overflowing and then under filling but the technician was on hand 2mins after we called and fixed it promptly. Being a little cool in Feb, the hot spa meant the world to us.
We also had the all inclusive package which was just amazing. The food was great, we especially enjoyed the al la carte menu for lunch. Cocktails were generous. I would go all inclusive again as the rest of the town was closed due to Feb being off season.
My only disappointment with the resort was that our pool towels got wet overnight and we were told by the (disinterested) lifeguard that these could only be exchanged with the lifeguard between the hours of 4-6pm. Not ideal when you want a morning or day jacuzzi!!

We booked this very last minute and I am so glad we did. Whoever said treat your lunch as your main meal was absolutely right. The Mediterranean restaurant was amazing for lunch. The buffet, both breakfast and evening, was just like any other buffet, pretty standard, nothing amazing but they did try to cater for everyone.
We travelled with 2 children aged 4 and 3 and the staff were absolutely amazing with them. They learnt their names and would always come over and speak to them at meal times, even if they were just passing. The staff make this place, the customer service is outstanding.
I would like to also point out how great the drinks were. As previous reviews have said I’m not sure we have stayed at an all inclusive with drinks as good as this. We tried a whole host of drinks throughout the week(there is a vast selection!) And the table service was a bonus too. I’m not sure if that’s a covid thing or if it was there before but either way it works well and service was quick.
There is lots for young children, everything is also spotless too. The foam roll mat at 3.30 in the pool was a particular highlight for my 4 year old! We did the pirate disco every night and although not many English songs the children didn’t seem to care and all the kids dancing together on the dance floor was great to see after the last 18 months everyone has had.
My only criticism and this is really not picking now, is sometimes the kids entertainment was a bit too short. Some of the shows weren’t child appropriate, for example the queen tribute. It was really amazing for adults but very loud and a little boring for small children which meant after the 45 min disco that was it for the night. The other nights when the bubble man was on for example was great and both adults and kids loved it.
The mosquitoes weren’t too bad, but we did go prepared. I think between all 4 of us my husband only got bit twice and it was just after a particular heavy rain day so definitely did not worry us and would not put us off going again.
We did in fact try to extend our stay for 2 more nights but unfortunately Viva was asking for 900 euros for 2 extra nights. The hotel was only getting quieter as the week went on so I didn’t really understand so we flew home as planned.
We would definitely stay again for the right price. We all had a rest, the kids made friends and had fun and we had lots of lovely food and drink.
Thank you Viva Blue for a lovely holiday. It was just what we needed.

Viva Blue is superb. We’re are just back from a ten night all inclusive stay there and would highly recommend. Book it!
The entire complex is spotlessly clean, very safe and the staff are just brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble, with Angel & Ousame the pick of a great team.
The Caprice buffet is really good, with a wide selection that caters for all tastes/ages and good choice for vegans/vegetarians alike. Each night is loosely themed. Breakfast was good. The Pool Bar for lunch has a more extensive menu than you would expect, with salads, pokes, pizzas, burgers, fish dishes, pasta etc…. El Patio (al a carte) which is included once per week for dinner on All Inclusive is really special with great steaks.
The various pools are great, really well looked after and offer something for everyone. Sun beds are a challenge after 7.30am & there don’t seem to be enough for everyone; from about 9am the lifeguards will give you a ‘ticket’ & remove your towels after 30/40 mins if you aren’t at your beds, but not an issue if you are aware. You get a pool towel each, changed Mon, Wed & Fri.
Evening entertainment is standard fair, enthusiastic and varied. Kicks off with a kids Pirate disco, then anything from ABBA, Bruno Mars, Soul tribute acts, to magicians, acrobats, flamenco etc… Not gonna win any prizes but ok.
Rooms are great, the master bed was really comfy & the double shower was one of the best we’ve had on holiday. The kids sofa bed split into two separate beds, which was perfect & our two didn’t complain once. Kitchen is tiny, not a problem on All Inclusive, but would be perhaps for self catering but still adequate. Air Conditioning isn’t the coolest (Mallorcan law?) but we got an extra fan from reception & it was fine. Maid service was excellent. Suggest you request a quiet room on top floor pre arrival (as we did), you’ll be offered upgrades at a cost but we wouldn’t bother.
They show a lot of football, which was great and unobtrusive and the daily activity program is good, if that’s your thing.
Really can’t fault Viva Blue, in fact the only issue is the Mosquitoes, which despite not seeing many of them and spraying ourselves and room, we got bitten a lot. So be prepared. Apart from that, we really can’t fault the place and would go back tomorrow.

Fantastic stay at Viva Blue! We stayed here on an all inclusive for a week and would recommend it. We had a room with a jacuzzi which was big enough for 2 adults and a toddler and the jacuzzi was a nice break from the busy pool.
All inclusive is definitely worth it, food at the buffet restaurant was good with a different "theme" every night and the sports bar food is included as well as are drinks and ice creams and other sweet treats from the "sweet bar".
There is a large main pool, a smaller pool a kids area with some slides and a lane swim pool. The pool gets busy but as we went post kids holidays getting a sun lounger wasn't an issue. The pools naturally get busy and there are lots of families so if you're a couple, perhaps this won't be the right place for you.
The beach is a 5 minute walk and there is a shop on the site of the hotel or if walking to a beach there are 2 more shops en route. The beach is lovely and very large, water is warm too (we visited early September). My son was too young for the kids entertainment/kids club but others seemed to love it.
We used the same pool towels for the whole week, which is very green but I'm not sure there was the option to change them? Unless I missed it upon check in.
Overall a good stay if you have a young family, situated very close to the beach, local amenities and decent food.
