What a lovely hotel! This hotel totally exceeded my expectations. We initially were booked for a side sea view family suite and upon entering I was not completely satisfied with the Location and the view. One simple phone call to the front desk and we were upgraded to a front sea view suite for a very minimal cost. The front sea view suite blew my mind! We were literally 20 steps from the beach and had a spectacular sea view. The rooms were pristine, comfortable and spacious. I am a very picky eater and I must admit the food is amazing. They really go all out on the buffet dinner and breakfast. Shout out to the hard-working staff. The hot trays are always filled with fresh food and tables are always cleaned. They really make an effort to rotate different cuisine so you don’t get bored. I really appreciate that! Lastly, the nightly entertainment is spectacular. My kid loved it so much. Each night she look forward to the new performance. The performers are professional, and very entertaining. This place deserves five stars! We had a splendid time!

We returned mid September after 10 nights and being our second time, we had a fantastic time and came back very relaxed. Aurelia dealt with our room upgrade to a suite before we arrived and we had a very smooth check in. Our room as lovely and the only issues we had was that our safe didn't work, could have done with more storage space for clothes, air con wasn't as cold as before and the water from the shower leaked out and over the bathroom floor which was difficult with 2 young ones to ensure they didn't slip over. My mum's room did not come with a kettle which for the price, should have been included.
The food was lovely and lots of variety, was a treat to have Moet champagne at breakfast and Oysters which my husband enjoyed however, we did find the restaurant did feel a bit hot at times. Having lunch overlooking the sea or pool and the healthy corner and food truck went down a treat with our 2 boys. Chocolate fountain, delicious cakes and ice cream in the buffet was a big hit.
We celebrated my birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary whilst there and Sheila and Liliana went above and beyond to make it special. We had a specially decorated table with champagne and a cake on my birthday in the buffet restaurant. Enjoyed a couples massage and the most beautiful dinner in Gusto restaurant for our anniversary with champagne and a lovely note from everyone.
The pools, kids pool/bubble and beach are really good and kept us entertained most days. Yes, they can feel cold at first but once you are in, they are lovely and refreshing. The entertainment at the pool was really good and just enough and not overpowering, you are not pestered by the entertainment staff. Foam party, circus acts, inflatable water slides, aqua gym/zumba, water carpet, dance acts etc. We noticed lots of people reserving sunbeds and not coming to use them until late afternoon, would be good if the staff can control this more. The sea is lovely and warm, shallow and clear which is great for kids. You do have to pay to use the sunbeds however we just laid our towels on the sand. You can also rent cabanas on the green hill along from the beach restaurant which was 30 euros a day.
The entertainment is really good and a variety of activities to get involved in. The entertainment staff work so hard all day long and are always so happy and polite, they really deserve a massive pat on the back. We even bumped into Roger who was part of the entertainment team back in 2018 when we were there for the first time and he remembered us even though he does not work there anymore, it really made our day.
The location is great as you are not far from Alcudia or Port Pollenca but can have a nice walk outside as there are shops across the road from the hotel which you can get supplies, gifts etc however, can work out a bit pricey. We didn't get chance to go to Numa Beach Bar down the road but it's meant to be brilliant. The airport is around 45 minutes by taxi.
Thank you to all the staff, they are all so friendly and polite, always say hello 'Ola' when you walk past. We miss it so much already will be back again!

We were a group of 4 people and we were delighted with the welcome, the catering (half-board buffet), the hotel facilities, the activities offered. The hotel has direct access to the beach, deckchairs are available upon payment to a gentleman at the beach. The pool has free sunbeds available which cannot be reserved with towels for more than 45 minutes but people don't respect this unfortunately… The room located on the tennis court side was very well appointed and cleaned, the only downside was the noise of engines that we heard during the night. Our vacation went well thanks to certain employees whom we would like to thank wholeheartedly. Many thanks to the check in & check out reception staff: Susana, Lenka, Jose Luiz and Fernando. They helped us a lot, gave very good advice, were very kind and professional. A big thank you to the Guest Service staff: Lilia and Tawfik who are very friendly and friendly. A big thank you to the restaurant staff: Miguel and Andreu at reception as well as the waitress Dayle who are very friendly. A big thank you to the friendliest, warmest hosts we have seen so far: Belen and Fabio

Finally a hotel that puts signs saying that the loungers must not be covered with towels and that this is monitored. It's just a shame that the hotel doesn't follow through on this consistently. 50% or more of the loungers were covered with towels all day but nobody was lying on them... disgusting... sad that the hotel doesn't do anything about it. (The picture is from 9am, almost everything was covered with towels but almost no one was there) We wrote a complaint on the hotel's complaints page on the second evening. Unexpectedly, a hotel employee came the next day and wanted to hear from us about the situation. We thought it was great and it sounded promising, but the next day we were disappointed. Everything he said hadn't happened. All hotels have had this problem for years and none of them find or want to find a solution. In every other company they work out an acceptable solution for everyone.
There are lots of children everywhere, screaming and making noise.
The food is OK, a large selection of lots of different things, so you can always find something to eat that tastes good. Unfortunately, the coffee at breakfast is not good at all. It is a no-go for meat lovers, you could easily become a vegetarian here, the meat is killed a second time, it is not seasoned and stays on the grill for far too long. Depending on the chef, the chicken breast tastes good. The staff is very friendly, the tables are cleared quickly, almost too quickly, we went for dessert, when we got back to the table our drinks were gone and the table had been set for the next guests. The room where you eat is extremely hot, after eating you can go for another shower because the sweat just runs down, it is no fun and you are glad when you can get out again. The hotel should turn the air conditioning on a bit, it would also be more pleasant for the staff to work, they are already so stressed and then in the heat when air conditioning is already installed. The air conditioning in the room is great, not too loud and cools down nicely without you feeling the air. However, the furnishings could be renewed, e.g. the bedside table shelf. The toilet is relatively small but the shower is nice and big.
The extra cost for the safe (3€/day) is stupid and the loungers on the beach also cost an additional 15€/day if you can get a lounger at all (the picture with the loungers on the beach was taken at 8:30am)
What also bothered me personally was that you were only allowed to smoke in 2-3 places and yet there were cigarette butts lying around everywhere on the beach.
If you book all-inclusive, you can't look forward to everything being included, some drinks on the menu as well as certain things from the food truck and the minibar still cost extra.
We made the most of our vacation and were ultimately able to enjoy it and relax, but we wouldn't go to this hotel again.

So we have traveled everywhere and seen various hotels, beaches, countries. This is where we first met Not so comfortable. The hotel staff are quite stressed, and show no kindness. The hotel itself is very clean, the food is good, and here it is partly child friendly. My son is 2 and was not allowed to participate in anything, i.e. no mini disco no mini club, despite being accompanied by us... so the “child-friendliness” contradicts itself. Also, I am not used to a hotel on the beach or pool having no trash cans or garbage cans to dispose of garbage, no clock through the whole hotel, and in the whole area it is strictly forbidden to smoke, even the e-cigarettes (which I do not understand)... drinks you get at the bar, you have to bring back yourself (mugs / plates etc.) For deckchairs on the beach you pay 20€ per day, bath towels 20€ per bath towel (depot) Alcoholic drinks must also be paid for.... Here I wouldn't come twice or recommend to someone who pays attention to the same things as me...

I have been going to this hotel as well as other Iberostar hotels for many years with my family but this one is by far my favourite. Everything is outstanding, the rooms, the location, the views and the small details like decoration and the palm trees around the hotel. The location is right on the beach so you don’t need to walk any longer than 20 seconds to go from the pool to the beautiful sea. The diverse range of delicious food you can eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner is breathtaking. All the staff are so nice like the chefs, bar staff, receptionists and cleaners. My favourite part of my holidays at this hotel has always been the entertainment. The range of activities you can join in day to day is incredible and there are lots of them. The evening shows are always so much fun for all ages but the best ones are when the actual entertainment team performs - for example the Frozen Show in which even the adults really enjoyed. The entertainment team are all so friendly and fun but the one standout for me is Mike. He is the best entertainer and my favourite. Every time i saw him he would come over and say hello and speak to me and he always has a big smile on his face. My holiday wouldn’t be the same without Mike there. He is very funny and always puts so much effort in to his job. He always did the adults volleyball and waterpolo daily and he made it incredibly fun. Even though i wasn’t old enough to play, he would involve me some way or another from beside the pool. I always watched those two activities because my dad did them, but it was only worth watching because Mike made it so great. Thank you Iberostar for always giving us an amazing experience consistently.

The positive: Great buffets and lots of choices. Restaurants and bars. Hotel very clean. Shower products, soaps, shampoo , and sunscreen milk for the body in the rooms. Ready for pool towels. Smiling staff. Mrs. Lilia Jellad who speaks French is very professional. Hotel for families. Several swimming pools. Fitness.
The negative: hotel too big and too noisy in the evening , rooms too small without soul, without storage for your clothes, safe deposit box, no drinks in the fridge, no coffee machine, no mosquito repellent (take or buy in the shops) , the toilet door touches your knees when you sit , water passes under the shower door when you shower.
The indoor pool not enough sunbed , the spa is much too small. Some toilets in the establishment lacked hand soaps.
And I had to pay extra to have a room on the top floor even that it was notify in my booking (if possible on the top floor). Because the hotel wanted to put me on the ground floor with seen on a big ball in the children's pool , I refused I was offered another room always on the ground floor with view on the roof of the stage that I also refused and then offer my on the top floor.
For a quiet holiday, as a couple or even alone, I advise against.

Enjoyable stay, friendly staff, clean rooms. Occasional sewage smells around the hotel, perhaps it's clogged with sand from time to time. The lounge etiquette needs major improvements. There is a 45 min rule for leaving your towel unattended, which is not enforced. This results in people leaving towels on lounges overnight to "reserve" them and tell you to wake up earlier if you want a seat by the pool or at the beach. The hotel has to collect the towels and charge 20 euro deposit for lost towel or the whole experience goes sour. We all pay to use the pool, a towel doesn't have more rights than me to sit by the pool. People want to go to the beach and have a reserved spot by the pool. Sorry it doesn't work like that. They don't want to read the rules and are very rude and arrogant (Germans). Otherwise I'm happy with the hotel, but would reconsider booking again anytime soon. Enforce your own rules!!!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback on your holiday at Iberostar Playa De Muro. We are pleased you could appreciate the friendly service from our wonderful staff and pristine rooms. On the other hand, we regret we were unable to satisfy you completely and mention that the reservation of sunbeds is not permitted at our establishment. In addition, our pool area is supervised by attentive attendants and lifeguards, ready to assist guests with any concerns or requests they may have. However, we apologise if this was not the impression received and for any inconvenience caused, and rest assured that we will forward your observations to the relevant departments for their revision. We would like to thank you once more for your review, and we hope you enjoyed the remainder of your stay. Best Regards, Quality Manager, Iberostar Playa de Muro

We had a great week, the buffets are quality and varied with a different theme every night. The all inclusive is comfortable especially when you have children. The hosts go out of their way to entertain us. Unfortunately I can't put 5 stars. For several reasons. First the rates are exorbitant, but I imagine that we pay for the Pension’s geographical location which is “foot in the water”. The rooms are clean however our beds have not been changed during our stay. The rental of towels as well as the trunk seem exaggerated (especially when you already pay almost 8000€ per week). No air conditioning in the common areas (restaurant and bar inside, except the czrveceria which was air conditioned) the Inn wants to be eco-responsible... to have a deckchair by the pool you have to be lucky or morning! I put a 10/10 to employees who work hard and who nevertheless remain very pleasant

I travelled in the company of my 19-year-old son and it has been an unforgettable journey. From the beginning, everything at the Iberostar Playa de Muro hotel is of unsurpassed quality: the comfort of the accommodation, the friendliness and professionalism of the reception staff, the meticulous cleanliness, and the excellent gastronomic offer.
The hotel is located next to a stunning beach, giving the feeling of being on a private beach; just leave the hotel to meet the sand and the sea.
Our room had a spectacular terrace, from where we could enjoy views of the pool, the sea and a beautiful walk of Castilian pines. You can't ask for more!
There are on-site restaurants, located just 50 metres from the water, that offer a unique experience: eat or have a coffee while the sound of the sea envelops you. It is a perfect place for both those seeking tranquility and those who want to have fun, thanks to the wide range of activities on offer. I was looking for total disconnection, and I couldn't have chosen better. I will definitely be back as soon as I can; hopefully later this year.
This place is my personal paradise, my refuge.
