It takes a while to drive up to the hotel, driving up a winding road. However, the drive is wort it. The hilltop location is fantastic, the view overlooking the city of Kandy is enthralling and you could be fortunate and see amazing sunsets. A welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of Colombo. The staff is friendly and welcoming....

Hotel is at a beautiful location overlooking Kandy surrounded by a beautiful garden. The location does mean it takes time to get into Kandy itself. No matter which form of transport you take it will take time to get down off the hill. Food is average at best. Nothing exciting and nothing you would stay at the hotel for. The...

We spent 4 nights here recently which was 3 too many. This a run down, unclean and unwelcoming hotel. The only good things are the superb hillside location and the lovely swimming pool. The rooms are small, dark, with a small bathroom with a glass shower screen which was not attached properly which made it dangerous if you were to...

We loved the AMAAZZZZIIIING views of the hotel and the great efforts of the staff & hotel to make it an experience. Obviously it's a chain so you won't get the charm of an independent hotel, but you do get this intense feeling of colonial luxury. So classy, I didn't think I would like it, I loved it!
