This place is amazing. The hosts were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, recommending fantastic places to eat and giving tips for the region; the accommodation was cozy and well outfitted; breakfast was a feast; and we were in the heart of wine country, surrounded by vineyards. The owners also make wine and grow hazelnuts - save space in your luggage for...

We just love coming here, always feel welcome and at home from our first visit in 2012 to our 3rd this year. Paolo and Chiara have updated the common spaces and some of the room details since our last visits. There were 4 of us and we enjoyed hanging out there in the mornings catching up with our hosts and...

We visited St 'Eufemia again for a third time in August and that says it all. We keep returning to this wonderful place in the rolling hills of Piedmont and would do so more often if possible. For more detailed comments and tips see our review of Feb 2013. Chiara and Paolo are as always warm and attentive hosts while...

This is a wonderful, magical place, in the wine country of northern Italy. Apart from the mountain/vineyard view, the fabulous breakfasts, and the comfortable room, the most amazing thing about Cascina Sant 'Eufemia is the hospitality of Paolo and Chiara, the owners and hosts. Our neighbors came here a few years ago, followed by our daughter and son-in-law, and they...

It's been several weeks since we returned from our trip to the Piedmont, and our wonderful stay at Cascina Sant'Eufemia, but the warm feelings for the place and Paolo and Chiara continue. From the tasting of their delicious wine on the terrace every afternoon to Chiara's delicious breakfast treats each morning, you are treated more like friends than guests. They...

We stayed just for a couple of nights, but wished we could have stayed longer, because it's a great place to come to rest. Owners Chiara and Paolo really make you feel at home and know all the right places to go in the region. Bonus: they own their own vineyard with some excellent wines and hazelnuts.

We had heard about Cascina Sant'Eufemia from a friend who had stopped by for a visit on their trip to Alba and raved about their wine and hospitality. I booked directly with Chiara who was very responsive and held the Green Room my boyfriend and I. We arrived midday and was treated to a wonderful glass of wine and some...

Spent a wonderful week with Chiara and Paolo in this beautiful and less traveled section of Barolo country. Blue room was clean, comfortable and even had a view of a castle. Breakfasts were excellent with a different baked surprise each day. Many restaurants were closed for vacation, but Chiara was tireless in helping us find just what we were looking...

Does it need more explanation? Probably not, but to sum things up (two former reviews are already uploaded): At "Chianti and Barolo" we feel extremely comfortable, it is like at home! Chiara, Paolo, please excuse the ridiculous pun, but Frank and me use it for several years. The classy breakfast (still including freshly made cake), the strong cafe, the cosy...

I stayed here via a recommendation from a friend and I could not have been happier. You are literally in the heart of the Piedmont Wine Country. You are surrounded by natural beauty and clean air. The property is simply fantastic! The highest compliment I can give them is to refer my followers, friends and family to their home. I...
