Had never been at this time of day before, ie just after 5pm, but it was still warm and welcoming and by 6pm all seats were taken. relaxing atmosphere by a warm fire. Just right for a relaxing drink after work with a friend.

This is a great place to dine for lunch or dinner, wonderful décor, clean and welcoming and has a lovely area for drinks with friends. Lovely "smart casual" feel. I have not stayed here but it is now a favourite place to come for nibbles and drinks or a meal for a nice evening out, or even just a coffee...

Stayed as part of a wedding party for one night glad it wasn't two. Not inexpensive and breakfast was inedible. Scrambled eggs like porridge fried eggs solid. Most of the rest cold and dried up. I have stayed in much cheaper hotels that were better.

Came here for my dad's birthday. The food was totally outstanding. Really can get across how well put together the food was. A really interesting menu where it would be a real waste to order a burger or fish and chips. The smoked salmon starter with gin-infused ice was incredible. We have paid 5 times as much for food not...

Just spent a wonderful relaxing Saturday night with my fiancé at Barton Hall, managed to get booked into our room a little earlier than 3pm which meant we could relax in their very comfortable lounge enjoying a drink, then went for a little stroll before heading back to get ready for dinner in their restaurant the Vines, very busy being...

I stayed at Barton Hall Hotel this past Sunday night and I had a great stay. The room was extremely reasonable for the quality, £58 for the night. The room was huge, furnished beautifully and had everything you could need. Having shampoo, conditioner, coffee and biscuits is a big win for me. Slept like a baby and felt the staff...

We went here for a celebration meal with friends. The staff were very accommodating and were able to assist us with specific dietary requirements. The food was quite good and the service was efficient. The dining area is fairly large with high ceilings and lots of hard surfaces, so if there are lots of people dining the extraneous noise of...

Room 14 was excellent, it was large with roll top bath and shower. I was able to arrange a bottle of bubbles in room on arrival which were nicely chilled. Meal in the restaurant was excellent, accompanied by a good selection of wine. Cocktails in the bar area equally good, I can recommend the Sorrento Sparkle. Nice unhurried atmosphere, staff...

This hotel has ample parking and quiet rooms, even when facing the road. The staff are all very welcoming and it was nice and warm despite being cold outside. The room was an ok size and had a comfy bed. There was also a spacious and clean bathroom with a nice shower. The dinner menu was great and the food...
