Monique has a gem of a place there in Bocas. It's off the beaten path, which means it's quiet, serene, and close to nature. Bluff Beach which is a short walk, is gorgeous, semi-secluded, and quite relaxing. There's a few other proprietors within a few minutes walk of here...a Danish restaurant, a yoga retreat, and a southern-ish hotel/restaurant. So if...

You couldn't find a more beautiful setting to relax in! Our meals were thoughtfully prepared and Monique made all of the arrangements for our excursions, she was super helpful, and always available to answer our questions.

We were generally underwhelmed by the bang for your buck in Panama but this place was certainly an exception. The hostess was nice, the food was really tasty, the house and cabins were rustic but comfortable and the setting was gorgeous. We also got a dog escort for our walks which was fun. I wish we had planned for more...

Tesoro Escondido is a great spot to get away from it all in Bocas del Toro. Located in a peaceful jungle setting a five minute walk from Bluff Beach, this tranquilo place is artfully designed and fairly priced. Owner Monique and staff provide relaxed service with a personal touch, and strike the right balance between friendly and professional. Bluff Beach...

We stayed at Tesoro for six nights, from Dec. 27th until Jan. 2nd and really did not want to leave. The first four nights we were in room one, and the last two in the Dolphin Cabaña. Room one is in the main house, a little further from the waves (so they are not as loud) but with a nice...

My wife and I stayed in the Dolphin cabin at the end of Nov. The views are stunning and the breeze and waves crashing below make for wonderful sleeping! It's so great to be a little out of town with wonderful mostly deserted beaches. Monique is very friendly and accommodating. She seems to know like 4 languages so she can...

We stayed four nights in the Dolphin Cottage and were sorry to leave. We faced a lot of trade-offs when selecting lodgings in Bocas, but this place seemed to strike a great balance. The prices are very competitive, the location is perfect if you want to stay in a more remote part of the island, and there are plenty of...

I think, that Monique place - Tesoro Escondido - is the best place in Bocas Del Toro, Isla Colon - very beautiful ecological style house surrounded by tropical trees and flowers. Rooms and cabanas are very beautiful and price is also very reasonable. Tesoro Escondido has a nice private beach - nobody is around! This is a unique place for...

I had a really hard time choosing acommodation in Bocas - it seemed none of the places available were what we were looking for. I knew Bocas Town was not the place for us (and it really wasnt, I am sooo glad we didnt stay there) so I tried looking for alternatives. Bluff beach seemed like a good alternative but...

I think that before my trip I sent about 300 emails with Monique back and forth. She was so kind, patient and happy to answer any of my questions. I KNEW that it was the right place. I stayed in the Turtle Cabina for the first 7 nights and it was magical. The view was spectacular and I could fall...
