Detailed Reviews
I can’t fault this caravan park. From the time we phoned to enquire about availability, checked in and stayed a week, the team were fantastic. We stayed on a powered ensuite site for a week for the bargain price of $35/night. The park is well set out and amenities very clean. Town is a short easy stroll from the park. I would highly recommend staying here for your stay in Mitchell.

We wanted a quick getaway over Christmas. Mitchell is a comfortable drive from Toowoomba and we had visited there before. We booked over the phone with Relief Manager, Wendy.
Wendy was very helpful suggesting a Christmas Lunch at the local Mitchell Cafe on Christmas Day. A quiet time of the year but when we arrived showed us a few cabins to choose from. The Cabin was neat and clean and a good size for us for a couple of nights. Had a car port and a good sized patio.
The caravan park has great facilities with ample undercover areas, a camp kitchen, fire pit and good quality and clean showers and toilets. A short walk from the centre of Town and the Artesian Spa. They are also pet friendly as we were travelling with out dog who is happy to spend the time in her pen on the patio of the cabin. Thank you again Wendy for your wonderful help over Christmas. Regards Rob & Adam (& Indi).

Pretty impressed with this caravan park. Right from the moment I rang from Roma and arriving at the site, the couple were very friendly and kind. We stayed in Wentworth cabin, lovely and clean, pet friendly, and money well spent. Highly recommend if you need a bed and rest before you continue on your journey. Even if you have your own caravan you are not sharing toilet n shower with everyone else, you can pull up next to your own ensuite set up site. At least now I know where to stay on our next travel through. In these crazy times, we are more than happy to support those small businesses.

Pleasant people to deal with in booking 3 van sites. The amenities were amazing with the shower/toilet in one room which was the best I had been in! The water was hot, hot, hot and full on pressure ( it was -3 the next morning). The fire pit was so well built which encourages travellers to sit and chat to others. Highly recommend staying here

Great 2 day stop over! Spent a whole day at the town spa and excellent local museum near by. Cheerful chatty locals very proud of their town.
Queen size comfy bed in clean self-contained cabin. Clean mini fridge, utensils and crockery, electric frypan, chilled wine glasses. Not enough well placed bedside power outlets for those travelling with CPAP and phone chargers. Undercover parking. Friendly service, great value. Just 2 mins drive to town, delivery available from local cafe. Aircon split system in the cabin if you need it.
Disappointed in the tiny 900x1200 deck in the Lawson cabin far too small for outdoor chairs and table so they put them outside on the gravel. Not conducive to relaxing arvo drinks but faces west at least so enjoyed the rich sunset and busy bird life. Nightly communal fire pit nearby provides opportunity for mixing with others. Would stay again next trip.

If you stop in Mitchell for the night, which you absolutely should, you must stay here!
John & Julianne are the most friendly and kind hosts and make sure you have everything you need. They’re very helpful with what to do and where to eat around town too! I had a horrible experience with my renter camper van (unrelated to the property!) and John and Julianne bent over backwards after hours to help me out. I will never forget my stay here and cannot recommend it enough.

We had two cabins for 6 adults. It was clean, the beds were lovely and cosy (it was a cool night with a coldish wind), the only difficulty we had was a loss of hot water. It was fixed quickly though. We enjoyed the camp fire - a great way to meet other people, star gazing and the Yumba trail. It's walking distance to the hot pool as well. The hosts were friendly - we will go back again.

Have a great day 😃😃😃
There is a lot of space with easy parking. Camper vans were there when we stayed also at the free camp at the weir nearby which was very nice with lots of campervans there ...all for free. Cheers!
