This hotel is situated on the banks of the river Shannon, thus is nicely situated. There is a lovely walk/bike lane outside the hotel by the river. The boutique rooms are a bit small and I found them noisy as it is so close to a major road. The bar is lovely, with a fireplace and breakfast was wonderful

We have been going to Keenans for many years, as a couple, with friends, family etc, but we are finished with the place. We have noticed a marked decline over the last year or more in standards. We also heard from other people about the poor food etc. However, because we had so many good experiences over the years -...

We had my Mom's birthday dinner in Keenan's last month. The area reserved for our party was perfect, the food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone and the service was fantastic! A massive thank you to Annette, Barry and the entire staff at Keenan's for a wonderful experience

We loved this place both for the beautiful decor and also the amazing food and pub service. The owners and staff went well beyond what we expected in helping us out in so many ways over our 3 day stay with them. Truly One of our best Ireland experiences!!

We used to eat here almost every week but the last few times it has gone more and more downhill. Our last trip was a few weeks ago. In fairness it was a busy afternoon and we were told we would have to wait for a table which was no problem. After a few mins the lady that was seating...

The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the atmosphere topped the evening off brilliantly. I don't live nearby but would go out of my way to visit here again. Would absolutely recommend!

Well once again Barry and Annette show why their bar is special. Food was great, service was super and the staff were as usual very good. Place to go for great lunches. The menu was varied and there was a good selection of lunch time specials. The presentation of the cake and singing happy birthday was a special touch.

Keenan's in Termonbarry alongside the river Shannon is a handy stop off off the N4 enroute from Dublin to The West. The menu is extensive without being overly adventurous, which is probably just the ticket for the majority of travellers either on land or water. Nice ambience, lovely setting overlooking the river and reliably good food.

We stopped here for food last Saturday evening on a return visit from Mayo. The bar was busy but we got a lovely table for 4. The menu had a great selection and we all decided to have a mains as we had a good journey ahead of us home. I had the chicken in mushroom sauce and I have...
