Inspired by Bali’s renowned uma, or ancient rice paddy fields, Umana Bali features 72 luxurious villas, each with its own private infinity-edge pool and outdoor hot tub, laid out in cascading terraces to afford panoramic views from every vantage point. A secluded escape, Umana Bali gracefully blends curated experiences, unparalleled clifftop vistas and local culture to immerse guests in the Balinese way of life through a myriad of resolutely authentic encounters that yields new discoveries for both first-time visitors and seasoned Bali travelers. The design of the resort is a fresh, modern interpretation of motifs found in Balinese architecture and textiles, crafts and dance. Umana Bali will offer a unique distillation of Bali’s Tri Hita Karana philosophy, which emphasizes the harmonious relationship among humans, nature, and the divine, and the belief that well-being and happiness will come naturally when all three pillars are balanced.

From the moment we arrived at the resort we were utterly overwhelmed with the premier level of service. There were at least 5 people who greeted us including our curator and the resort manager. And, when we departed after 4 glorious days in paradise, there were again at least 5 people wishing us safe travels and waving as we drove off. Our curator and all associates expeditiously took care of everything and there was no lack of buggies (golf carts) to transport you around the grounds if desired.

The food and drinks were exceptional as well. We ate at 2 different restaurants for our breakfast/dinner and ordered the resort's special in-room sampler of traditional Balinese specialties for dinner on another night. Every meal was absolutely delicious and we'd highly recommend the Balinese sampler!

There's also no lack of activities. One day we went to the beach, another evening we attended the Kecak Dance alongside the ocean (a not to be missed event), and on another morning we went on a "Village Walk". Our guide for the walk was a member of the resort's recreation staff and lived in the village. This was an amazing experience and made even more special as she brought us to her home and provided us with an absolutely delicious meal! A totally unexpected delight!

We would highly, highly recommend this phenomenal resort, and can't wait to return!

I had the pleasure of spending 5 magnificent nights at Umana LRX Bali, and I can confidently say that this is the hotel with the best service in Bali!

I travel around the world, staying in the best hotels such as Burj Al Arab, The Ritz-Carlton, ,Aman Tokyo or Four Seasons Hotel George and the service in Umana deserves special recognition.

The villas are modern and beautifully renovated, featuring a stunning pool and incredible panoramic views of sunsets from the villa. The staff pays attention to every detail, delivering fresh fruits and delicious cookies to the villa every day.

The breakfast is phenomenal, and I highly recommend trying the Umana Breakfast with avocado and lobster. The gym is new and equipped with all the necessary equipment, and the spa is excellent. There's even a dedicated space for yoga! Oh, how gladly I would spend 2 weeks here.

Umana LRX Bali is truly a gem that exceeds expectations.

I can't wait to return and experience the unparalleled luxury and hospitality that Umana LRX Bali offers once again.

My stay at Umana Bali was impeccable, from the moment you enter the property you can feel the good vibes already. The villas are amazing, spacious and they have everything you might need. The staff is very attentive and try to make your stay as memorable as possible. Bagus was my private buttler and was available everytime I have any questions. I also did the in villa BBQ and let me tell you, what a treat. Indonesian food is the best, Darma and Raldi were meticulous on bringing you thing fresh and as it comes out from the grill. The meat was cooked to perfection. Those are some of the names I remembered, but the whole staff( with no exception) is as welcoming as it gets.
I will definitely be back.

We spent 6 days at Umana Bali and got absolutely wonderful experience. The villa we lived was luxury, well-maintained and especially private and spacious. You can get into your private swimming pool and whirl pool directly from the living room or the bed room. You can see delicate design in every corner of the villa. The view is amazing from the villa, which is half ocean and half tropical and the chapel is closely located near the one we lived.
The staff and the team is attentive, kind and passionate. Everyone you meet greets with great enthusiasm. Our curator and housekeeper made our stay easy and cozy.
We took several meals at Commune and Oliverra besides everyday-breakfast . The breakfast is delicate and exquisite with buffet and a la carte. The food at the restaurants was tasty while reasonably priced. We also experienced facilities like the yoga course ,gym and beachfront service, which was also well served and in decent shape, making our stay not boring at all.
The resort is absolutely incredible in every aspect, a total gem if you decide to live away from crowds and noise for some days. We are looking forward to coming back soon in the near future.

We has a wonderful stay overall
Pros: the villas are breathtaking. Very intelligent design and no detail is overlooked. You truly feel like you're in a tropical paradise with lush vegetation surrounding the villa on all sides. The landscaping is absolutely superb. And the monkeys come to visit on a regular basis, no need to visit a monkey sanctuary. We couldn't have expected better accommodations. The buggies were always available, arrived promptly and took us around the property. The car was also available to bring us to the beach and back. Our curator Darma was a consummate professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very knowledgeable and always answered all of our inquiries promptly. Darma helped make our stay at Umana that much more special.
Cons: our villa 106 must've been facing the main road because most nights we were woken up by the horrible sound of a passing motorbike. They're extremely loud and we could hear them despite having the doors closed. It put a major damper on our stay.
For such an upscale property, the food choices were lacking. There are only 2 restaurants. Oliveria has breathtaking views but it's only open for dinner when it's too dark to see anything. I feel the resort should've opened Oliveria for breakfast for the customers who wanted a sit down meal while enjoying the views.
The Commune breakfast buffet was short on variety. We spent a night at the Conrad prior to coming to Umana and their breakfast buffet was far superior in choice and presentation.
The beach was very crowded. Umana provides lounge chairs and umbrellas for their guests but the beach is public and other people are almost on top of you. It would've been nice to have a private section.
Regardless, the positives far outweighed the negatives and we will be recommending the Umana and Darma in particular to everyone we know

My stay at the Umana LXR Hotel for two nights was an exceptional experience, significantly enhanced by the services of our butler, Wira. From the moment we checked in, Wira's attention to detail and proactive approach to service made our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself boasts luxurious accommodations and amenities, but it was Wira's personalized and attentive service that stood out. He was always available to assist with our needs, offering recommendations and ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were immaculate, the facilities top-notch, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was serene and inviting. Thanks to Wira and the rest of the staff at Umana LXR Hotel, our visit was a delightful experience that exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a touch of luxury and outstanding service.

Umana Bali LXR resort has the utmost over the top services and accommodations. The villa was luxurious it was extremely spacious the design of the villa glass walls incorporated the outdoor natural lights and plants into the interior decor beautifully. Every room had a beautiful view of your private infinitely pool and Jacuzzi. Every detail in the villa was unbelievable. The resort common grounds did not disappoint. The main infinity pool the restaurants, the main lobby and conference room area was clean and maintenance daily. The staff was extremely kind we were always greeted with a smile and a bow. The Commune Restaurant food was delicious, beautifully decorated and the staff was wonderful. Each morning my family and I looked forward to be served by Ade, at breakfast, she would recommend things for us to do, she would joke and laugh with us. She remembers I like my tea with milk. Each morning she would put a smile on my face and say Good morning, here is your fresh milk, then smile and continued ...from the box. LOL... :)
Our family went on a fishing excursion and we caught Tunas, we bought back to the resort and Chef Ngurah Putra made us a delicious tuna meal, grill fillets, sashimi, and tuna tartar. Chef Putra introduced my daughter to Bali's native fruit mangosteen on day 1, he explained the health benefits of the fruit. My daughter ate one everyday on our entire trip in Bali.

Kadk and Mami these two ladies made sure our cups were never empty at the poolside.
Excellent resort, highly recommend it for anyone, especially if you want to be pampered and unwind. Thank you Umana team for a memorable stay.

Umana Resort Bali is a slice of heaven tucked away on the coastline, a stay to remember.

The property boasts gorgeous villas that scream luxury and space. As soon as you walk in, you're hit with a warm welcome and jaw-dropping lobby.

The breakfast was delicious ! Whether you're into buffet-style indulgence or prefer something from the à la carte menu, they've got you covered. The spread is so good, you'll want to make it a highlight of your day. Lots of options for all dietary requirements.

The villas – they're pure bliss. Think plush beds you could sink into forever and private jacuzzis for that extra touch of pampering. And did I mention you can roll out of bed straight into the pool? It's the epitome of luxury.
The pool overlooking the ocean? It's like swimming in a postcard. Take a dip, soak up the sun.

But what really sets Umana Resort apart is its staff. They're absolute gems! From Wawan's coffee tasting classes that are as informative as they are fun, to Bagus, the butler who somehow manages to check in on you even on his day off – they make you feel like royalty.

And let's not forget about those massages! Picture yourself getting pampered with gemstone treatments by Nindi, Eka, and Wirati – it's pure bliss.

Last but not least, the main pool is a must-visit. Grab a cocktail, lounge by the water, and let the tropical vibes wash over you.
In a nutshell, Umana Resort Bali isn't just a place to stay – it's an experience you'll cherish forever

Can’t wait to go back!

My family and I had a pleasant stay in Umana Bali.

Our room not only had an amazing view to the sea but also it was spacious and the bathroom amenities were great ones.

Also, the commune spaces around the hotel were really beautiful and perfect to relax.

The boogie service was really fast and helpful and so were the staff: always smiling and doing the best to make the most of our stay. We also would like to point out that Wira was a great host, always concerned on adding the best to our trip.

We look forward to repeat this experience.

Chose to stay here over the many villa options in Bali as I am a Hilton diamond member. The villa and breakfast and ground staff were all top notch. Wira was especially excellent in hospitality, did a very nice hotel tour.

They were nice to do anniversary decor too.

However being a new hotel perhaps they lack diamond recognition. They refuse to give ocean view villas to diamond and only the partial ocean view room which doesn’t have much of a view of the ocean at all. Although it’s our benefit to choose our preferred view as diamond, this hotel would rather leave the villa empty instead of allowing a diamond to get a better view as mentioned by check in. It’s the same type of room just a nicer view yet they refused. I hope Hilton looks into this.

Another issue was the monkeys, they jump on the villa roofs in the morning and evenings. Do not leave things outside .

If they could improve diamond recognition this hotel would have higher ratings

Dear Diana,  Thank you for being a valued member and choosing to stay with us. As you mentioned, Diamond members are entitled to a complimentary upgrade to the next villa category, subject to availability upon check-in. In your case, the villa upgrade was provided from Tropical Garden to the Partial Ocean villa type. Additionally, Diamond members receive other exclusive perks, and you can find more information on our hotel's website.   Due to the captivating design and location of our villas, they often attract the interest of local fauna. To avoid any surprises, we kindly ask that you keep doors closed and refrain from leaving food outside.   We do look forward to welcome you back to Umana Bali soon for another delightful stay.   Warm regards, Serpil Guney General Manager
