#1 of 1 B&B in Smiggin Holes
The Lions Lair Lodge is a cosy ski lodge situated in Smiggin Holes close to Perisher Valley. Close by are the Smiggin Holes ski runs with t-bars and chairlift and which are part of the extensive Perisher Ski Resort. The Lions Lair offers a typical ski lodge atmosphere with a communal lounge and television area along with communal tea and coffee making facilities. Other facilities include a ski and board storage room, a drying room, a waxing room (own equipment required) and, most importantly, on-site car parking which is a sought after facility in Perisher Valley. There are 10 comfortably appointed rooms with varying bedding options to suit individual travellers, couples and families and each room has its own private bathroom with shower, toilet, basis toiletries and hair dryer. There is free wifi throughout the property and for those relaxing evenings there are card games, board games and a billiard table. The Lions Lair is not a licensed venue and the only meal available is a hearty full buffet breakfast with a range of dishes to appease everyone and getting everyone off to a great start before hitting the slopes! The breakfast is included in our rates and we do prefer that you do book direct on our own website where you will always get a better deal. So if you are heading up to Perisher for a snow vacation then Lions Lair Lodge has to be on your list as it is close to the ski runs, close to the Perisher Valley free shuttle bus service and has on-site parking.

Zoran and I had 2 stays within 2 weeks. Love this lodge. Very clean & comfortable rooms, best views, your own ensuite with a great shower head. A nice variety for Breakfast, cereals, toast and hot foods. There was nothing we lacked there. Communal Fridge, kettle, microwave & toaster for use anytime with an abundant supply of coffee, tea and milo. Best part were the Managers Michael and Rowena. Very friendly, helpful and Michael has the best sense of humor. We all did a lot of laughing together. Best bit about coming back was feeling like we were returning to friends. You guys are such an asset to the lodge. We cant wait to return next year!

1st time staying on the snow & it was fabulous, great location, inexpensive, close to the slopes & far better than travelling to & from Jindabyne each day.
The Lair is perfect for a snow getaway with tidy rooms & great breakfast & coffee. The snow is almost at your doorstep & it's not far to the chairlifts & the Smiggins Hotel which has great food & drinks.
Smiggins Holes is great for kids or a less challenging ski but still fun or there is a chairlift that takes you straight to the bigger mountains of Perisher & onto Blue Cow as well.
Ski & gear hire is available at Smiggins so the Lions Lair really is a fantastic place to stay & play.

We loved our recent stay at the The Lions Lair. A cosy, clean, family friendly lodge, a real ‘home away from home’. The hosts Monique and Rod were fantastic and cooked a different delicious hot breakfast each morning from fried to scrambled eggs and bacon, to yummy pancakes with berries and cream. Large selections of other serve yourself breakfast items too. We also made good use of the communal fridge and kitchenette (microwave only). The rooms were spotless, with comfortable, firm beds and lovely bedding. Lovely views from the communal lounge as you relax after a big day on the slopes on the comfy lounges. Lots of games for the kids to play and your guaranteed to meet some other lovely families during your stay. Very short walk to Smiggins Holes centre and free Perisher shuttle bus. Great value for money to stay on the mountain itself. We loved it and will definitely be back. Thank you Monique and Rod for a fantastic stay!
