Check in easy and straight forward. Rooms clean and comfortable. View from lodge is beautiful. Very convenient to Smiggins slopes. Friendly staff. Food was well made , very tasty and hearty . Hit the spot after a day out on the slopes. Fire place always stoked and inviting . Vibe of Coachman lodge is great. I will definitely come back. Keep up the good work.

Amazing stay! Mark and Sandra were fantastic. Super helpful. Great food of a variety of quality cuisines. Clean rooms.
Slopes at your fingertips. Head back after a hard day of skiing for a cozy warm and relaxing atmosphere.
Very accommodating to all family types.
We are a young family with a baby and they helped cater for our every need above and beyond!

Great snow- excellent hospitality- and superb food. What a wonderful week my wife and I spent at The Coachman. There were very few down sides - only the severe winds on the ski slopes. Caroline and Greg, the new Coachman managers, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We look forward to returning next year.

The Coachman is one of those magic places to stay, snuggled away in the snow cover hills of Smiggins.
The lodge is a cosy hideaway managed by Carolyn and Greg, two of the nicest people you could meet who welcome you to The Coachman as though it is your home away home.
Greg and Carolyn are to be commended on their best asset, their staff. The staff were fantastic and applauded for their attitude and service. Thank you.
We spent 7 nights at The Coachman in August /September and had a great time and enjoyed the culinary delights each day.
The Coachman is in walking distance to catch the bus to Perisher if you don’t want to ski / snowboard at Smiggins.
The lodge is a very warm place with its central fireplace in the living area where you can talk about your day’s adventures each night while enjoying one of the bars delights. Overall you can’t do any better than this hidden gem.
Carolyn and Greg, we will return and maybe go better at poole or trivia in 2017.
Thank you to you both and your great staff for a great and memorable time!

We stayed at the Lodge for 7 days. The team, headed by Greg and Carolyn, were fantastic, nothing was too trouble and you felt like you were staying with friends. The food was great, dinner was a 3 course a la carte meal and was fantastic every night. The facilities at the Lodge including the bar, open fire, games and TV rooms are well received by all guests - Carolyn & Craig, The Shire

We spent 7 nights at the Coachman. It's a great family lodge with plenty on offer to keep the whole family happy. A separate kids and adults TV area, pool table (doubling as a table tennis table). Free wifi for guests. Kids and adults eat at separate meal times. Food is fantastic too with a wide variety on offer at breakfast, and 2 course dinners for kids (and food they eat!) and 3 courses for adult dinners. The bar area has a wonderful round fire place, which is a great way to unwind after a day on the slopes. The new managers, Caroline and Greg couldn't be more welcoming or accommodating. Located straight across the car park at Smiggin Holes, with easy access to the Perisher shuttle bus if you need to take younger kids up to day care. Smidgins also has half day kids lessons from age 6 plus adult lessons. Easy lift access to Perisher Blue Cow too. Ask whether they have parking available (as there is also limited parking too). We can't wait until next season!

The Royal Coachman stay was excellent. The lodge has about 23 rooms, a games room, kids TV room, adult TV room, sauna and bar. There is a extensive choice breakfast each morning and a sit down 3 course dinner at night. The food was great. There is 10 car parking spots outside the lodge and its only about 200 metres walk to the Smiggin Holes ski lift ticket office and thereafter 50 metres to the lifts. The rooms have beds, toilet and shower and are comfortable and warm. The Smiggin's Hotel and other eat and drink lodges are all close and there are run free shuttle buses to Perisher ski centre all day till about 6pm. The lift ticket covers about 46 ski lifts in Smiggins, Perisher, Blue Cow and Guthica. The staff at the Coachman were fantastic and made our stay one to remember.

Adequate rooms and great lounge - best quality food I have had and most important is the hosting care - welcome from start to departure. Smiggins is a good base for Perisher. Short walk to the piste and lifts.

We stayed at the Royal Coachman ski lodge for 12 days. During that time the staff were friendly and efficient. The meals (buffet breakfasts and 3 course dinners) were first class and our dietary requirements efficiently were catered to (as were those of other guests). Relaxing by the fire with a hot chocolate or drink from the bar in the evenings, and chatting to other guests was a wonderful end to the day.

The Coachman is across the road from the ski lifts at Smiggins, about 150 metres, so it is not ski out.
