Staff we unhelpful, unfriendly and spoke poor English which made it difficult to organise or get information. Rooms had all the basic amenities but were very outdated and were not up to the standard in terms of cleanliness that you would expect from such a large hotel. Only good thing was the access to the fully equipped fitness centre

I stayed here with my friend for 5 days. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was distance walk to the market, mall and Phuket Old Town. But if it is the beach and nightlife that you are looking for, this is not the place to stay because it is quite far from those places. But if you are looking...

What to say ? Truly speaking I slept very well despite holes in the window, curtain totally damaged, noisy spring box, noisy ac, terrible and strong smell of cigarette in a non smoking room, spider and insect in bathrom (they do not make noise). The water temperature can not be controlled in shower and all is very tired and old....

The photos on their website are misleading, The lobby was nice so we expected the place to be the same overall. We were then led to the lift that seemed a bit old and not well kept. We then got to the 16th floor and the hallway had no air conditioning and was very hot and shabby looking. Then we...

The room and furniture is from an older generation in this hotel. I did choose this hotel as I had a meeting nearby in Phuket tow. Even though the staff were very friendly, they weren't very effective. I asked 2 times for a hot iron but not much happened. Finally I could call house keeping (operator told me the number...

Shower was uncontrollable but at least the cold water could cool you down because the ac isn't. Room was hot and you had no control of it. Halls were hot so what little air you had only prepped you to sweat when you walked down the hall. Omelets for breakfast were great though. Otherwise go somewhere else. Oh security is...

Stayed for one night, in transit through Phuket for about 12 hours. Chose this hotel for its location convenient to markets, old town and the bus terminal. The most modern thing about this place is the fitness center. Everything else looks like it hasn't been updated since the mid 70s, the whole things smells weird and the wifi is spotty...

stayed here as it was close to the PBW site. other than that, it was walking distance to town centre. wifi internet is good. so was the aircondition and water heater. breakfast spread was so-so. ample parking space for vehicles, including motorcycles. would likely shop around for cheaper hotel rooms next time.

Unlike many popular hotels in resort area, this hotel is located in the heart of downtown Phuket. During check-in, I was surprised that this hotel only accepts security deposit in cash. Maybe it's normal in Phuket but it was my first time to this city and thank god I had some cash with me.. The staffs were nice and friendly...

This review is only about the White Palm Restaurant at this hotel. The restaurant ambience is nice but the place was totally empty. We actually didn't mind it but were disappointed because the quality of dim sum was pretty poor. The prawn in the ha gao was not cooked properly and the spring rolls were practically burnt. But the fried...
