We had a very good stay at Ibis phuket city, location is very convenient and very local. Just how we wanted it. Peaceful and quiet though located in front of a local market, there is also a supermarket, dept.store, local restaurants, walking distance to phuket old town, convenience store, money changer. Most of all, we had a good stay because of FERN at the front office. She is very warm and always smiling, always ready to assist and answer my questions re the area, the best way she can. Fern is an asset to Ibis. Thank you so much Fern for your hospitality.

I had spent the night at Ibis styles on the first night of my visit to Phuket, we rented a car and arrived late at night. In the morning when we were ready to drive to the beach we found that our tire was flat. I was totally shocked and worried and asked the front desk if they had a pump so i could pump it to drive to a repair shop. They did not so she called the head of security (Mr. Aod) and technician (Ms. Batt) who came over to try and help. Mr. Aod without hesitation took charge and told us exactly what he would do, and he offered to remove the tire, use his personal car to drive to the repair shop and have it fixed and then bring it back and put the tire on. It was a much better plan than mine so i happily accepted, Ms. Batt was also kind enought to ask reception for a late checkout so we could wait in our rooms till the tire was returned. We waited not more than an hour and Mr. Aod came back with the fixed tired and had already changed it. We paid the repair fee which he had a receipt for and were so thankful to him and he didn't want any gratuity. This was five star service i never expected and want to thank the hotel for taking such good care of us even if we were already checking out. The breakfast options are varied and offer good value, with pork sausages and other choices available. There's also a welcome set consisting of macarons and chocolate balls.

The worst experience ever. We booked for double bed room and we were given with wheelchair accessible interconnecting room without informing upon check-in. We called the reception as we didn’t want to stay in accessible room and we were confirmed to move morning 10am. When we called in the morning the response what we received was not at all helpful.. staff is not friendly or empathetic, staff doesn’t care about the customer problems. As they were taking soo long we informed the receptionist to do the room move in our absence as we were heading out. When we came in the evening we were just given the excuse saying they are fully booked. No apologies no empathy nothing. There is no privacy when u are in the washroom..The AC makes some weird noise. Water flows all over shower area after you take shower. This is not acceptable when you stay at brand Ibis. Do not blindly book this hotel because of the name. The staff will just give you random room and lie to you next morning telling all the double bed rooms are accessible rooms and evening suddenly fully hooked. very poor service, staff is not helpful to your problems. Ibis Styles is the budget chain from Accor. This hotel seems comparably new. It's very clean, all is working. It's a good solution for a budget sleep with not spending much time in the room. Of course one can't expect 30 square meters for the price. A family of 3 should definitely go for the family room which has a nice bunk bed and even a room dividing sliding door. The breakfast is basic, but some fresh fruit to start the day may just be enough for some. The reception was very helpful with our heavy luggage. The hotel is about 15 min by foot from the main street in old Town.

I got a room in 3rd fl. It is a decorated clean small room. There are some change due to COVID e.g. coffee, tea and drinking water are free on request, which is good for reducing west. The cups were change to paper cup, I still Ok with the normal cup.
Water pressure and temperature control are the best. Water pressure was highest I ever seen.
Air condition control got 5 Celsius offsets. Wifi was usable, there are some weak sport for cell phone and the speed was just Ok.
Overall it is a good place of short stay.

First of While Check-In reception did not inform about the details of about property or the room. Also we were given accessible room even without informing while checkin at the hotel where as we had book for Standard King Room. In addition to this AC Makes sooo loud noice which makes it sooo difficult to sleep peacefully. Room wasn’t cleaned properly having stains in the washroom. Later when calling right after 15-30 minutes reception staff informed us to call in the morning at 10:00 to move the room which never happened and after following up multiple time they kept on saying let me check… While going out for city tour we informed Reception staff that bags are kept packed you can move the room and we’ll collect the key once back. Later in the evening when we came to check at the reception we were informed they kept us in the same room. No change at all. Very Pathetic service.

I stay at Ibis Style Phuket town just for a short visit to look around old town as per hotel location that located in center of phuket town. Hotel provide share facilities with Novotel Phokeeta ( swimming pool, fitness,bar ) all seem nice until i get to the room the cleanliness in room have to improve as AC dust and dirty glass still there. Thanks to Khun Golf, I met him at front desk and he help me solve all problems. Breakfast was good enough for budget hotel.
Totally Recommend for those who looking for a budget hotel in town as this hotel their all staff are provide outstanding service especially khun Golf and Khun Nid 😊
