Room 711 is the room to get if you want to be able to see some of the planes at the airport from your room. It is directly under the roof terrace so gives the same view, just slightly lower. A door opens onto a very small balcony which is good for photos.

From the room and the terrace, you can see anything parked on the left side of the International Terminal and on the remote stands opposite. Both are also good for landings from over the sea. At quiet times, some of the more interesting planes would, rather frustratingly, park on the right of the terminal or on the wrong side of a wide body, therefore, out of sight.

The pool and terrace are on the 7th floor which is open 0800 to 2100 although it goes dark at around 1830. Spotting after dark is possible but the apron isn't very well lit at all so reading anything off is difficult and you need something to tie them up.

The sun is behind you in the morning so is the best time for photos and the heat of the day hasn't yet built up. During my stay, they were landing over the sea until about 3pm and then changed to coming in from over the island.

The excellent breakfast costs 200 Baht per day unless included in your package.

It takes about 5/ 10 minutes to walk to the hotel from the terminal, and about the same in their shuttle bus which is excellent.

There is a 7/11 down the road to the left or a bigger one round the corner on the right with an even bigger one being built across the busy road from that.

The Naiyang cafe almost next door serves excellent food although closes early in the evenings and isnt open on Mondays.

The few negatives were no safe in the room and a poor selection of 20 tv channels.

The hotel is a multi-storey building with a swimming pool upstairs the rooms are not very large but are fine have a balcony with a wide window and there is not too much noise from the proximity to the airport. Early Thai style basic breakfast and the advantage of a van ride to the airport entrance. The surroundings of the hotel have absolutely nothing and the nearby beach is a dump.

Very clean and well positioned hotel 5 minutes' walk from the international terminal. Quiet area, with shops, and eateries nearby. Beach around 10 minutes' walk, however there is a 200bht fee, for entering the national park. Not much really when you think about it, (about 2 beers?). You also get access to Mai Khao Beach which is about another 15-minutes' walk along the sand. Has great views from the rooftop, which also has seating and a pool. Great place to arrange for tours to James Bond Island etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and modern hotel. Unfortunately, the A/C was broken and we were only informed upon our check-in around midnight (and despite the fact that I had emailed the day prior to make sure all would be in good order because we would check-in late because of our flight). An alternate hotel was offered to us but this was not suitable for us as are a family of four and the other hotel could not accommodate us in one room nor with connecting rooms. Since it was so late and we were only staying one night, we were promised a partial reimbursement for the trouble but no response was given by the hotel despite our attempts to reach out to them and follow up.

Stayed one night before early flight home the day after.

Pool at the roof, ok room, and nice with free transfer to the airport. Seems like the hotel is used by pilots and air stewards because of the location.

This hotel has met our expectations. It is a simple hotel, super close to the airport. We stayed here because we flew early in the morning. In the morning a free transfer to the airport. There is a fine eatery and many shops nearby. Check in and out was easy. Due to the low season no restaurant open in the hotel. The pool was nice to cool off. Rooms are basic, bathroom is very nice.

Budget stay with all amenities. Close to the airport with free airport transfer.

Rooms are clean, with a nice little balcony. Swimming pool is a bit small, but in the 7th floor.

The hotel is good for connectivity to the airport but far from the tourist spots and night life areas.

A really excellent hotel, a mere 5 minutes away from the airport either on foot or in the free hotel shuttle bus. When I arrived at the airport, the taxi people wanted 400 Baht for the transfer so I went to the Information Desk and asked them to ring the hotel who then sent their shuttle bus to pick me up for free as my deal included the transfers anyway. The shuttle bus arrived within minutes of the call being made.
There is a rooftop terrace which gives great views of part of the apron at the airport. There are lots of places to sit up there either in the sun or shade, a small pool and is open 0800-2100.
The buffet breakfast is truly amazing, a combination of Thai and Western in a very relaxed breakfast room which was pretty quiet throughout my stay. Breakfast was included in my deal, but at a cost of 200 Baht per day, really is great value.
There is a 7/11 just down the road to the left as if you are walking to the national park and beach. There is a much bigger one on the main road only a few minutes-walk away, turn right outside the hotel, walk to the traffic lights and turn right again so no need to cross the road. Supercheap is a good shop too, across the main road.
Lots of excellent places to eat nearby which might involve crossing the main road at the traffic lights. The Naiyang café, virtually next door, is good too, especially if the monsoon-like rains prevent much of a walk.
The only negatives here, which are very minor indeed, are there is no wifi on the roof and it tends to drop out in the room, there also didn’t appear to be a safe in the room. There were, however, a very good fridge and air con.
The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The staff here were generally very helpful and friendly and really seemed to care about what they did. I would definitely stay here again.

I didn't use their shuttle service so I cannot advise you but I think when you make a hotel reservation on line the question will be asked re being picked up. The hotel is about 500 meters from the airport.
